INTRODUCTION
Project management refers to process which consist use of skills, tool, knowledge and techniques
in order to deliver something which provide values to people. It is a process that leads work of
team for purpose of attainment of goals of projects within constraints (Aanbari and Kwak,
2018). It is important approach in order to develop project document, start development process.
It consist different components related to a project which includes budget, scope, time and many
more. This project report includes critical evaluation of project that highlight success factors of a
project. It describe different lessons to be learnt by an individual with completion of a project. It
provide recommendation in order to improve success of a project and also managing project in
effective manner. Moreover, I consist reflection for a career part in project management along
with skills required for purpose of becoming a successful project manager.

Evaluation of chosen project
This project report includes analysation of a project which is based on a delivery of knowledge
and education through virtual system. In this, University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD)
London is changing their system from traditional method of education to virtual mode of
education due to increasing threat of covid-19 pandemic (Anantatmula and Rad, 2018). But with
reducing threat of covid-19, university is planning to back to normal. In this, they are adopting
gain face to face method for deliver of lecture to students.
Success factors for completion of a project
Completion of a project is important for a project managers in order to get desired result.
There are different factors on which success of a project is depended (Bjorvatn and Wald, 2018).
It can be depended on different participants, size of project. There factors play important role in
completion of this project which are mentioned below:
Experienced and skilled project team: Success of a project is highly dependent on
capability of different team members. A project can be derail at any stage go project completion
and in order to get success in project and complete it on time, it is essential for different
members and stakeholders to work with more commitment and enthusiasm (Bredillet, Tywoniak
and Tootoonchy, 2018). It can be done when different members of team share vision for a project
which results in success of project. In order to implement old method of studies at university, it

is important for them to have experienced members at university who can handle this project
effectively and create a will among students to adopt old method in effective manner.
Planning: It is important for a project manager to have as detailed set of plan for purpose
of getting success for completion of a project. Different stakeholders and team of project should
have understanding of project and needs to understand how to beginning of project which is of
different heading (Copola Azenha, Aparecida Reis and Leme Fleury, 2021). It is important for
team to have comprehensive planning which helps them for purpose of meeting crucial deadline
of project and also for staying organised. There are various benefits of planing for a team as it
provide them a restrict time frame for completion of project and also provide them time to
estimate cost in effective manner, it allow them to deliver different documents related to project
which make it easier for completion of project. It provide requirement of resources and also for
warning system which provide clear visibility of project. Planning of project allow project
managers at university to understand requirement of documents to allow students for physical
mode of education which is important in order to improve effectiveness of studies. It is also
important to increase awareness among students for offline mode and estimate time frame for
completion and implement project.
Open communication: Communication is key to different channel which is important for
purpose of success of a project. It is important for a success of project to communicate openly
and also for completion of work on a specific schedule. Team need to complete different
activities of project on time which can be done if they are well informed about project. It is
required for team members to understand and learn situation where they needs to say no
(Eriksson, Larsson and Pesämaa, 2017). It helps them to no not make fake promises about things
which they cannot complete on time. It is important for project managers to complete a project
on time and for which they needs to communicate with team members openly which helps to
promote transparency at workplace. At university, it is important for project managers to
communicate with other members openly in order to increase their understanding related to
project. Teachers should also communicate with students openly about this project which helps
them to increase success of project and allow them to motivate students for completion of
project.
Proper risk management: It is not essential that every time project goes as per planning as
sometimes various factors arise which create impact over project. There are various risk

associated with a project which occur during completion of project and it is essential for a
managers to develop a action plan in order to mitigate risk that occur during a completion of
project. It is essential for a project manager to ensure different stakeholder related to a project are
well informed about risk associated with project (Galli, 2018). It is important as sometimes
members of team are also providing a solution for resolving problems occur in efficient manner.
In University, it is important for project managers to inform about different information to team
members as they provide them valuable suggestion and also helps for managing risk in effective
manner.
Lesson learnt from a project
There are different components to be leaned about an individual with completion of this
project. This learning is important for a person in order to increase their experience and also to
improve their learning related to a project (Kim, Chang and Castro-Lacouture, 2020). Some of
these learning related to a project are mentioned below:
Project managements and its importance: Project management refers to a process which
leads work of a team for purpose of attainment of a project goal. It is important project which
consist different information that helps in project documentation, developing initiation of project.
It consist different factors like budget, scope, time and other things (Koke and Moehler, 2019).
It is learned with completion of this project that managers should adopt project management as it
helps them for purpose of saves time and money for saving a project. It helps to improve internal
communication of the project and also helps them for purpose of making better decision. It helps
to increase chances of success of a project and to complete it within specific time period.
Different elements of project: With this project completion, a person can also learn about
different elements of a project. There are different types of elements to be included in a project
which includes stakeholders of a project, risk associate with project, budget, time frame, quality,
communication and human resource used in project (Lai, Deng and Chang, 2019). There are
different stakeholders are to be included in project who has power and interest in order to
creating impact over project. Some of these stakeholders are present in an organisation which is
known as internal stakeholders whereas some of these stakeholders are present outside business
organisation known as external stakeholders.
Skill development: A person also learned about skills development require for
completion of a project. For this, it is essential for managers of company to develop necessary

skills required for success of a project. These skills includes leadership skill, technical skills,
time management skills, negotiation and effective communicatio (Silvius, 2017). It is important
for a person to develop these require skills as it helps them in future to be a successful manager
at workplace. Leadership skills is an important skill which helps project manager for influencing
other for completion of a project. It is also important for them to influence members to complete
work with dedication for completion of project.
Important of virtual and physical mode of education: With completion of this project
which focuses on physical mode of education and transit from virtual. It helps to improve
knowledge of a person related to benefits of virtual and physical model of education. Online
model is one of method in which a person can use online technologies for attending classes and
learning new things (Soybir and Schmidt, 2021). Online mode of education is one which provide
benefits to students in different ways it improve their self discipline and also allow a person to
saves their time. In this a person can saves time and cost of travelling to one place to another and
allow a person to utilise this time on their self studies. Physical mode is another mode in which
student interact with teacher or instructor in face to face manner. It is important for various
reason as it allow students to directly raise question and aglow them to gain additional
knowledge from professor in class.
Recommendation
From above mentioned discussion, it can be recommended that there are different
difficulties occur in completion of project and in order to complete this project, managers needs
to identify problems on timely basis. It is also important for them for purpose of completion of
project on time. Managers of project needs to develop different strategies in order to solve
problems occur related to project.
It is important for managers of project to openly communicate with team which is
important in order to improve knowledge of different members. It allow them to also ask about
suggestion from team which is also important for completion of project. It is also important for
them to understand requirement of stakeholders with a project. Different stakeholders related to
project includes team members, client, managers and others.
They should also needs to prepare a risk management plan which identify risk associated
with a project. It also allow them to take various necessary action required by a managers for
purpose of improving success of a project. It is not important that project goes with proper

planning but in order to complete it in effective manner, it is essential to develop an action plan
for completion of a project.
Reflection report with consideration of career path in project management along with
highlighting skills
Taking project management as career consideration, it is identified that there are various
skills to be require for me to develop career in this field. There are different skills to be require
by project manager as they needs to manage whole project effectively and also needs to manage
information in effective manner (Zhou, Irizarry and Lu, 2018). Some of skills require by me
includes communication skills, time management skills, leadership skill, technical skill,
negotiation skills and many more. These skills helps me to take all challenges occur in
completion of project effectively and also to develop effective strategies to overcome of these
challenges. Skills I will need in my career path as a project manager are as follows:
Effective communication: Communication skills is one of major skills needed by me as a
project manager. Effective communication skills will help me to interact with my employees,
workers, management, clients etc. Being able to communicate verbally as well through writing
will help me in completing my project in more effective way. With great communication skills I
will be able to communicate with my team members as well as clients through different source of
communication. As a project manager I will able to convey my thoughts and ideas through
emails, reports, presentation etc. as well as it will help me being a good speaker during phone
calls as well as meetings.
Negotiation: Being able to negotiate effectively is also an essential task of a project
manager while managing a project. With being able to negotiate I will be capable of managing
resources by negotiating price from suppliers as well as to engaging suppliers which will help in
reducing cost. This skills will also help in resolving team conflicts and a savvy in managing
projects which will impact positively in my career growth. Negotiation skills will also be
beneficial for me in creating my team in such a reasonable cost that will help company in earning
more profits. This skills will also make be capable of providing beneficial solutions in relation
with all parties.
Technical expertise: A project manager must be expertise in technical skills. Technical
skills will help me to move my project towards its completion. This skills will help me to
communicate more effectively with my team by understanding project's details , inherent risks as

well as drawbacks which will also help me in guiding team in issues and process. In addition to
this understanding project software will create a positive impact on my work. Technical skills
will make me capable to evolve constantly in project as well as having knowledge to leverage
latest technologies for completion of task to meet deadline. Having technical knowledge will also
aid me as managing budget, resources and schedules. Proficiency in technical software like
Microsoft Office, Google Docs, SharePoint etc. will help me in formation of reports, data etc. for
necessary documentation of projects.
Leadership: It's crucial to have strong skills of leadership while managing a project. This
leadership skills will aid as motivating co workers, guiding as well as coaching to team to
complete project on time to achieve a positive outcome for business growth. This will also aid in
foster positive and productive work environmental for my team. I can do these by interacting
them on time, monitoring process, helping employees in their queries as well as managing
project. Simultaneously, by having this skills I will be able help team members in feeling
impactful by delegating tasks to them, providing constructive feedback, evaluating individual as
well as team performance.
CONCLUSION
From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that project management is important
approach for effectively manage project. It is important in order to complete project in effective
manner without wasting much time. It is also required for purpose of improving quality of
project and improving productivity of term members. There are various success factors which
hare contributing to success of a project. These components includes free flow of communication
among team members, planning, risk management, skilled workforce. There are various skills to
be required by a person for purpose of success of a project manager. These skills includes
communication, leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation and many more.
