INTRODUCTION
The market is developing and the need of construction managers is also very impactful so
that they can increase the development of the infrastructure to increase the standard of living of
the market. In this report there is a brief information about the importance of project
management in constructions and what challenges the individuals face in becoming the project
managers.
My Ideal Job
The project management in construction is a very effective position in the construction
industry. The project manager is the person which is responsible to supervise and guide all the
contractors and project teams to manage the construction project. The project managers s the
single person who have to manage the project and control the integrity of the individuals in the
process so that they can increase their efficiency to complete the project effectively. The project
forecasting is done by project manager as they have to evaluate all the factors which are
responsible to improve the efficiency of the project so that it can be completed before or on the
planned time to decrease the cost of the project.
Job Description For The Role
The project manager need to increase their efficiency in order to maintain the work
efficiency and coordination of the project and make the project effective. The project manager is
a sole person which is responsible to maintain the healthy work environment at the construction
site as all the employees are having many disputes and there are many departments which are
under project manager.
 Project managers are responsible to increase the number of workers by recruiting them
for the project and also assessing them according to their skills which are required in the
project. As the effective requirements will help the project to more efficient and increase
the chance to achieve the objectives faster.
 The project manager s also responsible to manager the contracts and analyse the contract
which are helping the project. The project manager also need to analyse the price of the
materials and other operations so that they can bargain with the suppliers to decrease the
cost of the project and increase the efficiency of the project.

 The Construction can not be done without official permit and project manager have the
duty to register the project in the legal terms to receive the permit to start the project. As
the project manager are also responsible to make the project ethical. They are responsible
to take permission and licence of all the operations from the government authority.
Qualification of Project Managers
Project manager also need to have some qualification which will help them to increase
the skills and knowledge to management the project effectively and increase the efficiency of the
project.
1. The project manager should have the minimum of bachelor's degree in management.
They also need to have the knowledge and experience of business operations and also
have worked in the business organization to increase their skills.
2. The project managers can also have the master's degree in management which will also
help them to increase their opportunity to grow in the construction field and increase the
income effectively.
3. The project manager should also have the skills which help them to organize their work
effectively, decision-making skills, motivational skills, leadership skills. The project
manager should also know ho to manager all the people in the project and create an
effective coordination in all the departments.
4. An effective project manager should also be a good listener who can solve the issues and
problems of the project employees to increase the efficiency of the project so that it can
be completed on time. They also increase the efficiency of all the people in the project.

There are many resources which are available in the market which the person can use to
become a successful project manager in construction industry-sector. To receive the effective job
the project manager also have to be more attentive and also have the knowledge about all the
resources to increase the chances of job opportunity.

As the internet is the largest platform which connect the whole world it will also increase
the opportunity of the manager to get selected in the company as project manager.

2. Print Media- magazines, newspapers, journals also0 have the job description and
recruitment invitation available on them. Newspapers help the project manager to be
more specific and also find the job at the nearby area where they reside which is more
convenient for them.
3. Call and email- the project manager can also call and email their CV to the company to
apply for the job on the calls and also send the resume at email. This will help the project
manager to make the effective selection and it will also help the company to decide the
qualifications and skills of the applicant.

Project manager also need to analyse that the resources available in the market to find the
job should be effective to get an effective job.
1. Job portals on internet will help the project manager to find the jobs of his preferences,
and they can also apply them to get a better opportunity.
2. The project manager can also send their resume to the company through email so that the
company can shortlist them and hire them according to the requirements of the company.

invitation in the newspapers this will also help the company to find the desired candidate
to increase the efficiency of the construction project.
