1. Current job description and specification of the chosen company
I have applied for the post of a project manager in an event management company. The
primary responsibility as a project manager was not only to deliver the solution within stipulated
deadline to the clients. I had to play the major roles and responsibilities in coordinating with my
team members who have left immense contribution towards the services. People belonging to
various geographical backgrounds and attitudes are associated within my team (Bolden 2016). I
had to work with effective collaboration for making the entire event successful.
I was associated with a well recognized event management company who has left
immense contribution in organizing and planning the events towards services. People belonging
to various geographical backgrounds and attitudes are highly associated with this organization.
The business experts tend to show their equal respect and dignity towards the customers
(Cheruvelil et al. 2014). Employees while providing services are very much cooperative and co-
coordinative towards each other. The business experts do not leak out data conviviality without
taking permission of the third party. The business experts are not at all biased towards the
services. With the help of an effective service process, people from different cultural
backgrounds and attitudes can get equal respect and dignity in performing well towards reaching
the business goal (Cottrell 2015). I as an employee while providing services am very much
cooperative and co-coordinative towards each other. I feel safe and secured in working within
such organization, which constantly follows data protection act at the workplace.

2. Identify a professional qualification you could acquire alongside your degree
Along with my management skill and competency level, I have identified the needs of
two additional courses that should be grabbed. I have observed that my communication skill and
technological competency is little bit poor with the help of which I fail to maintain effective
rapport with my team member. As a project manager, I need to have effective competency with
the advancement of technology. As a result, both the service providers and the service users
would get equal benefits and facilities (Dixon et al. 2014). In addition, communication training
can develop my multilingual flexibility as well. With the help of gaining multilingual flexibility,
I can deal with those employees who have a barrier in communication. As a result, those
employees do not have to face challenges in dealing with me after facing any kind of difficulties
at the workplace (Frich et al. 2015). However, communication skill and technological skill can
enhance my professional career as well in doing the entire flow of work more systematic and
effective.
3. To what extent does your CV and LinkedIn profile demonstrate you have the essential
and desirable skills for the job?
My curriculum vitae it clearly reflects that I have a good management background based
on which I can easily manage the business pressure while dealing with the role of project
manager. At the same time, I have also observed that as a business manager I have immense
skills and competency level in handling work pressure by taking proper decisions with the
collaboration of other team members (Leask and Terrell 2014). People are from different
geographical backgrounds and attitudes associated with the business process. My team

give my best services towards work. I am a quick learner with the help of which I can acquire
any kind of unknown activities very quickly. Based on my strengths I have gained the attention
of other stakeholders. I have gathered immense knowledge and understanding about the ways of
my improvements. In addition, my future prediction approach is very much effective in
predicting the future risk factors and plans an alternative strategies and policies for reaching the
business success in a smooth and systematic way (Cottrell 2015). Therefore, these are my
strengths that has already reflected on my curriculum vitae.

4. Reflect on the interview process on STAR method
Q.1: What is the primary way to deliver a success event or project
S (Situation) I had to conduct an educational event one year before. Here I was coordinating
the entire project with the help of 10 team members
T (Task) My task at this event was to play the role of project manager. I had to direct my
team members so that they can conduct the entire event successfully.
A (Action) I tried to make an effective rapport with the team members in order to encourage
them. I took the responsibility of taking care of every health as well as
psychological issue facing at the workplace
R (Result) I got a positive feedback from the team members who appreciated the
coordination of mine that I have highly motivated me towards performing well.

5. Reflect on what you have learnt about yourself throughout the whole module and what
skills do you need for further development
I have learnt from the entire module what should be the actual role of an efficient project
manager. While conducting the course I have identified my own strengths and weaknesses that
can immensely help me in improving my personal and professional career. I have observed that
professional journey is endowed with numerous barriers. In order to improve my future growth I
can concentrate on my communication skill and technological skill (Cottrell 2015). I have
observed that my communication skill and technological competency is little bit poor with the
help of which I fail to maintain effective rapport with my team member. Therefore, it can be
stated that an effective communication training can develop my multilingual flexibility as well. I
need to have effective competency with the advancement of technology as well in future so that I
can easily measure the employee performances effectively (Leask and Terrell 2014). In addition,
I can enhance my emotional intelligence skill in future as well to better perform in the role of
project manager.
