Introduction
The main aim behind developing the report is to analyse the performance of the team
members effectively so that it becomes easy to suggest ways in which tue performance can be
important as a team. In this report I am going to describe the major challenges that are faced
while implementing the project. In order to develop a project successfully it becomes
essential to manage the team members effectively so that they can contribute towards the
project. While developing the first part of the project the main concern was focusing on the
reinforcement activities that help in scheduling the projects efficiently. In the assignment I
have developed network diagram so that it becomes easy to understand the main activities.
However while developing the project I have identified that several challenges were faced by
the team members. This part of the assignment will entirely focus on describing the ways in
which performance can be enhanced.
Importance of effective communication
Communication plays a crucial role in developing a project. It becomes essential to
ensure that proper communication is being performed among the major stakeholders and
team members so that implementation can be done successfully. While developing the project
I have identified that there is a huge gap in understanding of the team members. For
implementing a project successfully it becomes essential to give equal importance towards
the new ideas that are introduced by any team members. As a team it is always essential to
understand the potential of each member and should motivate each other. Thus it can be
stated that communication plays a crucial role in the development process and it becomes
essential to understand the need of proper communication among the team members. In order
to improve these skills of team members it becomes important to provide proper training that

will ensure that they are aware of the benefits that comes along with proper team work. The
main motive behind describing the different ways in which team work can be enhanced is to
ensure that the conflicts that are faced at the time of project implementation can be mitigated
in future projects. While resolving a conflict I identified that due to lack of communication
the team members developed an incomplete schedule. This incomplete schedule has the
potential to disrupt the project.
Apart from this it is the responsibility of team representative to determine the
capabilities of members so that they can be assigned with proper responsibilities. This will
ensure that each member is capable of giving their full contribution towards the project
development process. With proper team management it will become easy to manage the
activities. The team representative should have the ability to motivate the employees so that
they can work effectively that will bring better results towards the project. Effective team
work ensures that the project is being executed by mutual understanding and each member is
equally involved in the project. The main reason behind carrying out a project in team is that
it helps in ensuring proper performance. This ensures that the project is being executed
effectively within the time. Team management plays a crucial role in developing a project.
This ensures that the project is being successfully implemented without any issue. While
managing a team it has been observed that the communication becomes a main challenge.
Thus it is essential to ensure that each team members are able to communicate.
Communication will help in avoiding the chances of errors that might take place when the
project is carried out by a single person.
According to me the way in which performance can be enhanced is by setting and
tracking the attainable goals so that each member can work for achieving the goal. The goal
that is set by the project manager must be attainable and realistic so that the team can work
towards the objective. Secondly the team executive should be clear about the tasks that are

going to be assigned towards the team members and should appreciate their contribution so
that they can ensure better performance rate from the end of the employees.
Ways to enhance communication among the team members
Communication is the key concept that ensures that the team is able to express their
views with each other and they are able to work together for the purpose of achieving the
goal. Each people associated with the project development process should take up their
responsibilities effectively so that they can ensure that the project is taking place efficiently
without any challenges. It is the responsibility of the team leader to encourage the members
so that they can recognize their place within the project development process. Every new idea
must be appreciated so that the members can share their ideas.
The communication channel needs to be developed between the team members and
team executive so that they can work effectively for achieving the goal. The project needs to
develop better engagement activities that will help in understanding the interest of each team
members. While processing the activities and checking the contribution of each member I
found that there are many team members who were not confident about their ideas. This
stopped them from sharing their views and ideas with other team member. Thus in order to
overcome this challenges it is essential to ensure that the employees are provided with self
training session that will make the team members confident.
Communication must be done with each team members via emails, meetings and one
to one interactive session. In addition to this the team must also conduct frequent group
discussion session that will help in developing ideas for the purpose of completing the project
successfully within the given time.
The team members and project managers should communicate frequently for the
purpose of describing the activities so that the main tasks can be explained towards the team

members. Each team member plays a crucial role and hence it becomes essential to
understand their role so that they can contribute effectively towards the development process
and can achieve the target. The team leader needs to describe the goals at the early stage so
that they can deliver the expected outcome.
Conclusion
After analysing the project needs it can be stated that there is a high need to have
proper control over each team members so that they can ensure better performance towards
the project development process. In this report I have focused on describing the importance
of effective team performance and the way team members can be managed. For every project
it becomes essential to develop a team that will be able to meet the needs of the current
project and will be able to deliver the project within the given time by managing the
resources. Apart from managing the communication it becomes essential to manage the
conflicts that are likely to arise with the difference in views of the members. With proper
implementation of methodology it will become easy to protect the organization from serious
damages. In addition to this it becomes essential to have proper control over the resource
allocation process. Thus it can be concluded that team work is one of the most crucial factor
at the time of implementing project. Each member of the team must work effectively together
so that they can deliver the project without any errors.
