The quality of project can be defined as a service or product that has the capability to
execute satisfactorily and they are suitable for its intended goal. With the assurance of
quality, it is easily tom audit the requirements of project quality and the outputs from the
activities of quality control. Quality is very important in order to satisfy the customers and
maintain their loyalty so they continue to purchase service or products (Basu, 2017). The
quality products make an essential contribution to the revenue and the profits. They enable
the company in order to charge and maintain prices those are higher.
The tools those are helpful in the planning the quality management of a project include
case and affect diagram, flowcharts, check sheets, Pareto diagrams, histograms and control
charts (Stamatis, 2018).
 Case and effect diagrams: A cause and effect diagram evaluates why something happened
or might happen. This done by sorting out cause those are potential into small categories.
It also useful in showing relationships between the factors those are contributing. It
facilitates the thought procedure in scrutinizing a problem into four sources those are
contributing.
 Flowcharts: flowchart is a kind of diagram that represents a procedure. The flowchart
illustrates the steps as various boxes and their order by connecting the various boxes with
arrows.
 Check sheets: Check sheets are tally sheets those are simple and they are utilised in order
to collect data. It is a part of the seven basic tools of quality and they are utilised in order
to solve the issues related to quality within a specific plane of project management. They
are generally used to collect data of the quality of products or services

 Pareto diagrams: the Pareto charts is one of the seven quality tools that assist in order to
decide the defects, complaints and other factors those are frequent. A visual tool is
utilised by various professionals in order to evaluate sets of data associates to a particular
problem (Klochkov, 2017). It is implemented by drawing charts of the data sets and it is
implemented in order to find out defects in products or services.
 Histogram: A histogram is graphical tool that is utilised in order to visualize data that can
be generated with the software of histogram. It is one of the seven tools of quality and it
is utilised for continuous data. A histogram can be easily implemented in Excel from the
graphs and charts section.
 Control charts: A control chart is a graphic that illustrates if the products those are
sampled or procedures are meeting their specification and if they are not meeting, the
degree by which they differ from these specifications (Ali, Pievatolo & Göb, 2016). The
control charts can be implemented from the things that need to be monitored, and then
decide the system of measurement and then the control chart is established.
The cost of the project can be affected by poor quality. Quality influences the cost in a
business. While utilising the parts those are less expensive or bad quality might cut the cost
but the long term impact is expensive. For example: utilising a software that costs minimal
might save the company with money but that software can be more complex than more
software those are expensive or lack of customers services (Patra, Jain & Dhawna, 2018). If a
problem arises, the software does not have any customer services and it will take longer time
in order to achieve the job.
