Report
AI Summary
This report reflects on the lessons learnt from the PPMP20008 course, focusing on project planning and initiation. It details the planned versus actual approaches to gathering and documenting lessons, highlighting challenges faced with team communication, application of Microsoft Project, and implementation of collected data. The author identifies three key lessons: the importance of team communication, the need for sufficient time to understand project management tools, and the difficulty in applying theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. For each lesson, an improvement strategy is proposed, along with methods to measure its effectiveness, reasons for its achievability, its relevance to the lesson, and a timeline for implementation. The report concludes by emphasizing the importance of proper project definition, resource identification, cost analysis, and the use of mitigation strategies to overcome challenges. References to relevant literature are included to support the analysis and proposed strategies.

1. INTRODUCTION
In order to complete this specific course study I have chosen PMP20008 course. This will help to
meet all the requirements related to project planning and initiation. According to my
observation this project will help me in addressing all the requirements related to the project.
This will help me to address the benefits and challenges that are going to be faced while
implementing this project. I have explained the way in which the sources and information’s are
collected in this paper. Apart from this paper I have also addressed the way in which the
situation forced me to work on that specific situation. In this paper I have included all the
existing challenges and strategies that will help in improving the situation.

While working with this
course I have identified
that it is important to have
a proper planning for the
project. So that the project
can be completed as per
the requirements.
In order to have a proper
analysis over the data it is
important to gather
documents from proper
data. However this
becomes important for
people to gather
information that will help in
further supervising the
process.
The documents specified
will help in capturing data
and allows us to utilize the
lessons learnt from the

becomes important to
review the documented
data properly so that it can
be applied at the time of
project development
process.

Thus from the above lessons learnt it can be said that proper project definition is needed to be
done for addressing all the requirements. This includes proper identification of the resources,
analysing the exact cost included on the development of the project and the functional and non-
functional requirements. Proper analysis will help in implementing the project successfully. Each
situation associated with the project needs to be analysed properly. Proper mitigation strategy will
help to overcome the difficult situation. However PPMP20008 course is not sufficient for making a
project successfully, therefore proper lessons will help in completion of each phase quickly.
