Without going overboard, when formatted item 1 to 3 below will be most likely 4 to 5 pages. It might be more, but it should not be less. Each learning
outcome (LO) would contain two to three paragraphs. The important thing is to say in the LO section how the student achieved the LO. This is done
through the summary and the evidence that points to each week in the appendix (weekly submission).
1 INTRODUCTION
Project management can be defined as the specific practice of starting, planning, execution, control and finally closing of the team work for achieving the
required goals and objectives within the given deadline (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017). A project is the temporary endeavour that is solely designed for the
successful production of a unique product, result and service with the specified or defined starting and ending points that are undertaken for meeting all the
goals and objectives and bringing out the beneficial changes or added values. The temporary nature of all the projects eventually stands in contrast to the
businesses or operations. All of these operations or functional activities are either repetitive, semi permanent or permanent for the successful production of
services or products. The entire learning of all these ten weeks, the lecture notes as well as the tutorials had given an extremely broad concept regarding the
various methodologies of project management, the important elements that are linked with the utilization of the methodology of project management and also
the impact of the selected project management methodology within any organization (Burke, 2013). The success of the approach of the project management
or the methodology of project management or approach of the project management mainly depends over the proper governance of this project and hence the
project management plays the most significant role for ensuring of the project success. This consolidated portfolio eventually reflects on the proper extent to
which all these learning outcomes of the course are being fulfilled. The respective detailed learning experiences are eventually discussed within the following
paragraphs.

Within the very first week of our course, we were being provided with a core ideology of the concept of project management as well as the main reason that
why all organizations are adopting the various methodologies of project management (Schwalbe, 2015). It was extremely interesting to learn the significant
reason that why all the separate organizations irrespective of project size have the ability in adopting methodologies of project management to successfully
execute this project. With the help of this course, I was able to understand the various uses as well as advantages of the methodologies of project management
within any company. Effective and efficient planning or controls are checked by these projects in the companies. Moreover, with the help of this particular
course, I had the idea of the importance of any type of planning of project. As the proper methodology of project management eventually helps the respective
organization in planning of project, they take up project management methodologies for their projects. Various challenges are also overcome by these project
planning and thus I got a clear idea of all these reasons that clearly explain that why all companies solely adopt the methodologies of project management
methodologies (Fleming & Koppelman, 2016).
Evidence
In the earlier days, I was working as the intern in a popular manufacturing organization. I had to follow all the utilizations of agile methodology in project
management within the companies. With this methodology, the testing was the most important and significant part of each and every project stage. Moreover,
when I was the part of this course, I got practical as well as theoretical knowledge regarding the requirement of various methodologies of project management
within various companies.
2.2 Learning Outcome 2: Critically analyse the impact of Project Management Methodologies upon stakeholders
Summary
This particular learning outcome described about the entire concept of the methodologies of project management on the stakeholders of a company (Walker,
2015). After obtaining the significant knowledge regarding this topic, all my doubts were subsequently resolved. All of these methodologies of project
management have major impact on the stakeholders and the success of the project. This methodology of project management has a basic plan for
communication for the project and hence an easy propagation of this information is ensured. Moreover, the progress report of the project is being checked
with this methodology. The project planning or execution is checked with perfect analysis of stakeholders. The management of any project is extremely
challenging and dangerous for the organization, hence, the stakeholders should be involved for choosing their methodology of project management (Harrison
& Lock, 2017). The role of stakeholders is extremely important for any project and they have an important impact on project success. Hence, there is an
impact of the methodologies on the stakeholders.

Evidence
The particular course of project management has solely helped me to acquire practical as well as theoretical knowledge regarding the importance of
stakeholders within the specific project. All the stakeholders of this project are eventually required for managing as well as controlling the project properly
(Flyvbjerg, 2013). All the stakeholders of any project play the most significant roles in ensuring about the success of the project. Furthermore, proper
updates are also taken for the project and there is an extremely less chance that the project would be a major failure.
2.3 Learning outcome 3: Explain and justify the major elements of a Project Management Methodology that might meet the needs of
an organisation
Summary
When I was an integral part of this course, I got the knowledge that there are some of the major and important elements in the methodologies of project
management. Proper scheduling as well as management of any project is extremely important and thus the organization should incorporate these elements
within their project (Heagney, 2016). The budget of the project should also be maintained strictly and a timely completion of this project is extremely
important and vital. The project scope is the next vital element for the methodology of project management, which is required by an organization. If the scope
of the project is not calculated properly; there can be a major delay in the project and thus should be properly mitigated within time. Moreover, the execution
of project should be done properly. This proper execution of project is the next significant element of the methodology of project management. This should be
utilized by the organization properly. Planning is considered as one of the most important and significant element for project management methodology (Mir
& Pinnington, 2014). Gathering as well as identification of project is the next important elements.
Evidence
Being the exclusive part of this particular course of project management, I gathered knowledge regarding the several elements or aspects of the
methodologies of project management from the several study materials and lectures of the course. When I was appointed as the intern in the
software company, all these knowledge helped me in understanding the entire scenario properly and thus relevant information was being
gathered (Leach, 2014). The entire 12 weeks course has eventually provided me a proper understanding of the methodologies of project
management. The proper selection of this methodology of project management is dependent on the project type and hence the major project

management elements are being checked properly. My theoretical knowledge was enhanced in the entire course of project management
methodologies.
3 DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION
Throughout 12 weeks of learning about project management methodologies, I have understood the fundamental knowledge of project
management and the importance of project management methodologies. The complete management of the approaches of production needs the
growth as well as development of the specific technical skills or strategies of management. The first and the foremost challenge for project
management is achieving all the goals and objectives of project with the provided constraints. The information could be easily described within
the project documentation that is created at the starting of the process of development. The primary and the most important constraints are the
time, scope, budget and quality. The next or the secondary challenge is the proper optimization of the allocation of important inputs and finally
applying them for meeting the previously defined objectives. The major objective of the project management is the production of a perfect and
complete project that complies with all the objectives of the client. Moreover, the impact of all the decisions properly involves within the project.
These decisions are taken by designers, project managers, sub contractors and contractors. This consolidated portfolio is the reflections of the 12
weekly portfolios what I have learnt in the course.

There are some of the major activities are
present that are rewarded as the project.
The project success is being checked by this
concept.
This unit’s learning helped me in
understanding the importance of project

Similarities and dissimilarities
between project management and
project success.
Project management is the proper practice
of project starting, planning, controlling and
finally closing of a specific team work that
helps in achievement of various goals and
objectives (Mir & Pinnington, 2014).
I have also learnt that there are some of the
major activities for any project
management. They are the conception,
planning and design and finally execution of
the project.
Project success refers to the success factors
that are important for any project to
become successful (Kerzner & Kerzner,
2017).
I also got knowledge about the specific
factors that any project becomes successful
only when all the success factors are
properly executed by the project manager
(Schwalbe, 2015).
Project management and project success
are different concepts; since, a project
becomes successful only when the project is
properly managed.
