The management of project procurement deals with development of relationship with

assure that the needed service and goods are gained at roper time. It is also useful to qualify the
standards of project quality process and assure that project can meet the objectives. The authors state
that it follows a logical process. Here, the initial thing is to determine what one require to contract
and the way it must be done. As it is finished, the further step is to be forward to contract
requirement to sellers. As it gets distributed, sellers begin the process to big in. At present, the best
one is to be selected and then the contract must be finalized with them. As the development phase
starts, one require to constantly monitor to assure that the contract is followed suitably. As the entire
project gets finished, one require to close the contract of the project and the along with the process of
needed essential paperwork.
Methodology:
The author have researched the article through her teaching profession and developing
courses. Besides, share has been involved in writing white papers and mentoring the students.
Findings:
Firstly, the procurement documents are understood. Then, the scope is evaluated. Here,
project managers should assure that SOW involves every needed scope and extra tasks that are never
involved within the SOW of the vendor. Next, there is staffing meaning project managers must
deliver the input for staffing details for the contract of the vendors. Regarding schedule the project
managers should also track the progress of the vendor against main or revised schedule. For the
costs, as the changes are suggested after the task begins, the manager and team should deliver
alternatives of cost-savings to the proposed changes of the vendors. Further, for the performance
reports, the role of project manager is to review and understand report of vendors on project

activities due to entire schedule and scope. Moreover, the changes are understood. While contracting
and purchasing departments controls contract changes, it is vital that project managers have constant
communication with the department. As the deliverables comprises of the project, the manager must
get involved in the process to verify that those conform to various defined requirements and is
actually fit for that. For payments, the project managers must verify and then accept the deliverables
related to the project. Lastly, there is the procurement audit. This also indicates the lessons that are
learned regarding contracts. It is seen that project team and vendors working closely with vendors
have the best view-point for documenting many lessons that are learnt for the present case of project
procurement.
Limitations of the study:
Though the study can help project managers in sharing and learning about procurement, still
it is not understood how they can become the member of that procurement team. The study also
lacks the extensive knowledge for the process that must be an important responsibility for the
success project manager.
