Task 1
1) Discussion of types of Project Life Cycle
The four types of project life cycles that has been prominently being used in today’s
world are Linear, Iterative, Adaptive, and Extreme project life cycles (Matejka and Tomek,
2017). These life cycles have been explained below,
Linear Project Life Cycle: The linear is the traditional and simple project management
approach that deals with the analysis and logic of five process composition of project life cycle.
The project life cycle comprises of scope, plan, launch, monitor and control, and closeout.
Iterative Project Life Cycle: The iterative project life cycle is based on the agile project
management approach. The system delivers solution with all of the iterations and it forms the
development of the improved functions and operations.
Adaptive Project Life Cycle: The adaptive project life cycle is implied for the formation
of the APM approach with minimal information and missing functional aspect. The process is
very helpful for software development projects and construction projects.
Extreme Project Life Cycle: The approach is helpful for the development of the
research projects. The project involves the heavy client information and the process goals for the
development of the solutions for the high risk and change type projects.
2) Recommended Project Structure
The iterative project life cycle structure should be followed as it would allow the
manufacturing company for the development of the improvements while carrying out the trade

show event (Garcia et al., 2017). Since the project planning is of short duration, the project
managers would require some improved actions while the project is ongoing and this project life
cycle would allow the users for the function.
3) Project Control System
The project control system is implied for the development of the activities for controlling
the activities of the project (Willems and Vanhoucke 2015). The implementation of the
operations would allow the formation of the improved activities. The control strategies are
implied for forming the activities and development of the operations. The control system
comprises of developing the improved actions for the organization. The control system is formed
for ensuring that the activities of the project are aligned properly.
Project Evaluation: The project evaluation is formed for the development of the
improved activities and alignment of the project (Zarza et al., 2014). The organizations have
some specific goals and objectives that must be achieved in due course of the project operations.

development and alignment.
Time: Time plays a crucial factor for the verification of the project success and the
project is always confided with some time factor. The project is scheduled for a certain amount
of time and the criteria for the project success are that the activities of the project is completed in
the estimated time duration.
Cost: The overall cost of the project is budgeted and the resources are aligned in that way
only. Hence the management of the project activities would require the formation of the budget
and aligning all the specific resources in that budget only.
Quality: Quality is another major factor that had caused the deployment of the improved
activities and the project is bounded to outcome some specific results. The client has set some
specific expectation from the project and the quality of the outcome is dependent on the client’s
requirement.
5) Purpose of Risk Management in Project Management
Risk Management is the process of managing the risk factors in a project so that the
overall impact of the risk is minimized or reduced to zero (Kirkham et al., 2014). The projects

1) Introduction
1.1 Company Background (APPLE)
Apple is a leading brand of mobile phone that comprises of the development of the
activities and alignment of the improved processes (Business, 2018). The mobile phone company
has formed the development of the most supplementary development of the mobile experience.
The Apple products have always been helpful for the designing of the product in a more specific
and improved methods. The company has been formed for the modification of the changing
application design and the extension of the business capabilities. Apple has developed over the
years and it has become simple for the users. The increase of the number of the functions has
provided ease of the development model. According to iPhone X (2018), the reformation of the
facial recognition into face ID is the most exclusive feature of the I-phone X developed by Apple
Inc.
1.2 Event information
The event of I-phone X event launch is implied for the development of the program with
the help of the program development. The analysis of the program management has employed
the successful implication of the project based on the event management. The event would
comprise of the specific activities and processes for the development of the improved functional
development. The program event consists of five phases namely initiation, invitation, promotion,
and marketing, site selection and development, one day event, and project closure. The initiation
consists of the activities of requirement analysis, initial documentation, charter development,

submission of documents, and sign off. The invitation, promotion, and marketing consists of the
activities of making guests list, sending invitations and e-vites, contacting advertisement
company, banners and flyers are made, television and internet ads are run, and marketing of the
event. The site selection and development consists of the activities of appropriate venue is
selected, venue set up, stage is developed, sounds, lights, and cameras are installed, decoration
theme is set up, and program is rehearsed. The one day event consists of the activities of
welcoming of the guests, brief intro speech, explanation of mission, vision, and value statement
of the company, customer's expectation from the company, showcase of the model (Iphone X),
and description of phone's technology. The project closure consists of the activities of
development of final documents, submission of documents, sign off, and project is closed.
2) Project Scope Statement
The project scope plays a major role in the integration of the activities of the organization
for achieving appropriate results (Bingham and Gibson Jr, 2016). The project would be formed
by analysing the basic requirements of the project and the systematic and confine development of
the project operations. The scope statement is implied for successful development of the
improvement process.
2.1 Objective
The project objectives are aligned for the modification of the event program and
development of the activities of program management. The objectives of the project of I-phone
