INTRODUCTION
Project management is defined as the set of activities that are performed in order to lead
the team and managing the activities involve in the project by integrating them so that set
objectives can be achieved (Alias and et. al., 2014). The current report is about the Treat Your
Own Back which is company that sell books which contain information about dealing with the
back and neck issues by suggesting exercise and now planning to launch a mobile application
where people directly get access to videos, contents etc. in this regard for availing services more
conveniently.

This project has a wider scope as there are majority of people who are facing neck and
back pain issues of all age group due to change in lifestyle pattern. As a result of which they are
seeking assistance in term of identifying the exercise that they can perform while staying at
home to deal with their pain and issues they face (Burke and Barron, 2014). On other side the
Treat Your Own Back is highly appreciated book which represent the proven exercise and
provide basic information about such kind of issues. So by providing it the mobile application
assistance it will be widely explore and adopted by the people throughout the world. It is so
because mobile has now become a major tool or device which hold solution to all problem and
when people get clinc based exercise assistance over their handy tool then it will get more widely
spread.

Technical staff The technical staffs are one of the key parts for this project as they
perform the actual work of development of the application, so it is
crucial to manage they as per the requirement of Treat Your Own
Back Pvt Ltd. So, for managing them regular performance
evaluation strategy will be used where the technical staffs will be
provided with the guideline and time scale for set of activities to
be performed and there will be a regular reporting about their
progress and testing of their work after completion of each stage
by project manager to ensure that program will be developed as

the demand.
Internal IT liaison The Liaison is responsible for maintaining the communication
with the project manager about the progress of project and then
interact with the Treat Your Own Back to provide them assurance
regarding their work to be accomplished in timely manner. So, in
order to manage with IT liaison, it is decide that their will be
meeting organised in advanced regarding the resources and
manpower require and after starting of the project their will be a
meeting in every week where the work of whole week will be
discussed with the Liaison.
Team contract
It is basically defined as the agreement between the project manager and team mates
regarding the terms over which the whole team will operate. It is much effectively for getting
outcome without errors or mistake. It is so because when team mates know their role and
responsibilities at individual level then work can be performed more easily and efficiently.
For this mobile application development project some terms are deicide by the project
manager for its team mates so that work can be perform in more effective manner as per the
schedules plan. In this a meeting will be organised each day before starting of work where each
individual will be assigned with their work part (Eskerod and Jepsen, 2016). After that in the
evening each one has to report to tehri superior about the whole day work and progress, error etc.
after that in every Friday their remains a meeting with project manager where the whole week
report will be represented, errors would be discussed and required resources will be identified so
that each resources available to them and issues can be resolved on timely manner so that final
outcome do not get affected.

Financial analysis is considered to be a crucial part of a project as it help in determining
the actual cost that get incurred for performing a particular project as well as actual inflow or
profit that the company will get with the execution or accomplishment of project. The financial

Justify the appropriate SDLC model for project
SDLC or Software development life cycle is a model mainly used as a framework which
consist of several stages that allows a step by step execution of work to design, develop and test
the high-quality software or application. The Baby Care Software Inc. will make use of this
framework whi8ch allows the project manager to effectively execute the project plan and
develop a better mobile application as demanded by the Treat Your own Back (Heldman, 2018).
The SDLC phases are explained below:
Planning: - This is the first stage of this framework where a proper plan will be
formulated about the mobile application to be developed. For this first of all the Baby Care
Software will firstly perform the feasibility analysis about the viability of project and resources
available to them (Heldman, 2018). After that proper planning regarding eth activities to be
performed, responsibility of the people involve in work, how, when and by whom to be
executed, what will be the feature so the project etc. These will be planned and then document
under a project management plan where Gantt chart and WBS will be mentioned that represent
the team members and their corresponding roles in project.
Analysing: - Once the plan, has been prepared the project manager and sponsors of the
project will perform internal analysis to determine the availability of resources or external
sources from where the remaining resources can be arranged. After arranging all the resources
and allocating them as per the requirement of activities planned the next step is to prepare a

prototype which involve the feature planned for mobile application in order to test how it work
or will it will be successful. If it remains as per the plan and function properly then the order get
passed to start work over the original mobile application.
Designing: - In this stage all the resources are gathered, allocated and team members
start working over developing the program for backend operation of mobile application and to
design the work or feature that it will involve or help in executing the project (Lock, 2016). In
this stage all the operational related work get executed and whole mobile application get
designed along with its functioning in this stage.
Implementation: - After the mobile application get developed, the next step is to
implement the actual plan of the Treat Your Own Back company by launching the mobile
application for the motive for which it is being designed. At the starting phase, for checking up
the market feasibility and performance the mobile application will be launched at a very limited
market share on the basis of pilot testing where only few of the company’s existing customers
will be provide access to this as a sample to take their feedback. Once all the feedback related
with its working has been collected the next is to determine all the gap and error along with eth
reason behind it and taking corrective actions to improve.
Maintenance: - After totally improving and removing all the errors the next is to launch
the mobile application at the border level for all the people who want to get the services provided
by this mobile application. Along with this there remain a regular check for at least 2 to 3 years
in order to ensure smooth functioning and providing proper assistance or maintenance to the
application for its better performance.
