Introduction
Quality management in any process is extremely necessary as this understands how
the planning, design and implementation of a project is dependent upon the management of
quality and all the project activities related to the sole purpose of attaining the objective for
the unified goal of the project. Reaching the goal is not just important for any project through
the project objectives for the project completion but it is also important to maintain a proper
quality of the end product (Gul et al. 2016, pp.439-445). However it is not just any project
activity that can be imposed upon the project outcomes at the time of the project completion
but it needs to be implemented throughout every stages of the project to ensure the quality
level of output for each of the project phases. It is a separate, independent and singular
process that occurs at the end of every activity and helps in measuring the quality level of the
output. On the other hand there is a process known as Resource Management that helps in
understanding of the management of the business resources in the most effective way during
the projection of any process of project. There are various resources of an organisation,
tangible and intangible, equipment, materials and finances, which needs to be taken care of
during the project progression as the resources might be taken up and inventory might face
challenges in maintaining the addition and subtraction to the inventory resources. This is why
the following report would represent the process for the quality control considering the
contradictory idea about the approaches to quality control, the approaches of overall quality
control of a project the assertion is an argument supported by evidence and also the linear
evidences provided.
Approaches to quality control in project management
Quality management is the process which makes sure that a company is taking care of
products that the projects of the organisation are producing the products and services for the

times which are absolutely enhance in value and the company is even aiming at providing
even greater quality of products. The primary goal of the organisation must be to make sure
that the employees are meeting the requirements of the clients in introducing the products on
the services required (Carithers et al. 2015, pp.311-319). This is established by making sure
that the proper sharing of knowledge is implemented among each employee so that
everybody in the organisation included in the project team exactly knows what is expected
from them to ensure the total outcome of the product and services at best quality possible.
The project quality management program is also handling by quality control which helps an
organisation to make sure that the manual and other minute errors are reduced throughout the
different phases of the project so that the products or services that are manufactured and
produced are of a much better quality (Hartley 2017). However, there are different ways to
implement this within an organisation as well, show that the people within the organisation
and always updated about the approaches to enable the procedure of making better things for
producing a better strategy for having the best quality and products. For the approaches
towards a proper management of qualities there are several ways by which the approaches
can be taken for a total quality management throughout the project.
The approaches for total quality management can be represented as follows:
The just-in-time approach that make sure that the inventory buffers like work
in progress, raw material, time, finished goods and knowledge are not included
in the projects.
The quality circle approach, which makes sure that all the project team
included within the project at empowered so that they can develop the solution
to all the impending problems or risky situations within the organisation by
themselves without holding the progression of the project (Pellerin and Perrier
2019, pp.2160-2178).

the quality statistical process control which ensures that the tolerance of
monitoring the operations are not what compromises any phase and the
Deming's cycle of quality control is implemented every phase, including all
the four phases of plan, do, check and act.
The total quality control for cutting all the departments that do not function
with cross functional procedures.
the process architecting that makes sure that the workforce is working from
the scratch to ensure much better quality of the finished products monitored
through every minute sub-processes.
The process deployment automation that automates all the engineering
procedures across the organisation.
The process execution automation to make sure that the entire organisation is
clarified about the routine procedures.
The robust design for maximizing the long-term stable performances.
The customer care design so that the product design can rely on the customers
for making sure that their requirements are met exactly the way that they want.
However, there remains other approaches towards the quality control of a project that
basically are of four types. These four types of approaches for the quality control helps in the
identification of the proper strategies such that the phases of any particular project never
ignores the checking for the total management of the quality of the end product at each phase.
The breakdown of every approaches towards quality control would be described in details as
below:
Process control: This approach is the first tribe of the approaches towards quality
control where it starts with the raw materials gathered and required for the manufacturing of
the products and services and ends with a finished good (Gemino, Reich and Sauer 2015,

pp.299-310). This is the essential step for quality management system as it is employed write
when the project team is handling the samples and examining the processes for making sure
that reliable testing is done before implementing the raw materials in producing the end

that are all included in every process to make sure that the raw materials are being utilised in
the most standardized way and also maintaining the quality having a stable pace is the first
approach to quality control.
Acceptance Sampling: Acceptance sampling in quality control is redirected to the

progression so that the property assurance towards the quality control of the product is
maintained. For this, it needs to be made sure that a metric and measurement is set as the
standard so that the plan for managing all the activities within the program for the project is

most essential aspects of every business.

ways by which every person within the organisation is looking forward to have a much better

phase. Providing the best quality product to the clients is the first and foremost requirement
of any organisation. Therefore, the previous and the innovative aspects of having a quality

pp.262-267). A business organisation can strategize inner lining both of the approaches and
test the products and raw materials at every phase and at the same time train the employees in
making sure about the approaches on their own responsibilities to provide quality product at
every phase with the utilisation of the standardized work.

management of every product and the management of Nestle organisation is one of the most

products that were not of a proper quality by which the organisation can provide the clients

substandard quality and this is why the organisation also had to face a lot of problem at the
time of the quality checking.
Nestle was banned from several countries in providing the products to the customers
once they could not meet the quality standard set by the countries and provided substandard
products which could have affected the health of the clients in a big way.
Evidences provided
The controversy with Nestle was one of the biggest evidences that were provided to
all the countries regarding what problem could arise if an organisation would not admit to
providing the clients with best quality products as it is supposed to. They were several
discrepancies in in managing the products for the organisation in several ways that has been
justified as above (Pai 2018, pp.222-231). The product quality control approaches where not
managed and this was one of the main reasons why Nestle failed to provide the best quality
products to the clients and once it was discovered that the product was not up to the
standardized point, the entire organisation was suspended for several years to provide the
customer with further products produced by them (Webb 2017). There was a long sabbatical
after which the insurance and assurance provided to the government about the quality of the
product that they produce, and enhance quality that they were likely to provide the clients, the
company was again permitted to provide the clients with their products.
Conclusion
Therefore in conclusion it can be said that for every organisation it is extremely
important to maintain the product quality and this should be insured at every stage of the
manufacturing of the products or the services. There are several approaches by which the
organisations can ensure that the product is being manufactured as per the requirement of the
