Re: Re-registering For the Failed Modules and Project
This is to bring to your attention that I failed in some modules and project last year
because I was extremely sickling in the days leading to the examination. I was even hospitalized
and admitted for one week. This really disrupted my ability to revise for the examination. I have
been able to bring this to the University but I am told that I can only re-attempt the modules but
not the project. I have been advised to take postgraduate certificate. However, taking
postgraduate certificate will really be disastrous in my life both personally and professionally
since it is never accredited in in my country. This is because postgraduate certificate will be of
no use to my career and professional development since I will never be allowed to apply for any
job.
Against this backdrop, I am pleading with the University to reconsider its decision to
allow me undertake a new project since this will really be a turning point in my career
development. I am requesting to be allowed to re-register for the project and even willing to pay
afresh for the project and the examinations for the failed modules. Without graduating, I will be
of no use to the society and my future family despite having undergone through school for all
these years. I am able to avail all the necessary documents to prove that I was hospitalized and
admitted during the said time. Thank you very much in advance for reading my letter and I am
