PROJECT REPORT 1
Project summary
Research work for an expansion of an organization overseas requires a lot of hard work. This
research work has done in the form of data collection and its analysis. For this study in order
to establish real, scientific and objective knowledge of the subject matter I have chosen the
positivism philosophy. In this philosophy, I have started gathering quantitative as well as
qualitative primary data. Last week I have prepared the interview questionnaire for
quantitative data used for campus interviews. In the recent week, I have started preparing an
interview questionnaire for qualitative data. For qualitative data gathering, I have decided to
interview managers of UberEats in different regions.
Another progress on the research project has been made in the form of a productive
communication with region director through a contact person. This meeting had ensured me
that 20-30 employees will be taking part in the formal questionnaire which I had shared with
the managers.
Challenges faced till date
Conducting research work for real is the toughest part of completing my degree. In this
practice, a lot of research and efforts were required. At the same time, this could be fun if we
got to work on the industry of our own choice. Although I got the industry of my choice I
came across some serious challenges which made me feel like I was losing my grades due to
poor work.
One of the challenges I faced while making this project is collecting information or data. In
data collection many challenges were experienced, especially in gathering qualitative data.
For this, I had to contact the managers of the company and interview them. In this process

only there were many challenges like taking appointments from managers and preparing a
formal questionnaire with no mistakes. In this process, I had no idea that from where to start
getting information and how to collect that data. Another challenge I had experienced was of
confusion as there was so much information in the form of secondary data. This led me to go
off track at times.
