Given the situation that Jack Muller finds himself at the end of the case,
evaluate all of the options available to him and recommend the course of
action your group thinks he should take?
After analysing the mentioned case scenario it has been observed that the project
manager Jack Muller has expressed his interest towards incorporating an IT system in order
to integrate almost 40000 PC’s as well as routers and other computer appliances into a single
system. Followed by this aspect from the case scenario it has been also noticed that the
developer Jack Muller has identified several project risk, scope as well as the mitigation
approaches. In order to answer the mentioned question I through investigation is needed from
which it has been identified that Muller has identified that it is quite impossible of integrating
such numbers of systems into a single system as it is very difficult for the system to work as
40000 PC’s. Followed by this he has continued the project due to which at the end of the case
study it has been observed that Jack Muller identified several risk which holds a significant
impact of the development of the approached project. Followed by this in the case study
several other evaluation has been observed in which it has been mentioned to ignore the risks
present in the project scope, mitigate all the risk in order to get the more specific results.
Considering these aspects Muller has decided to mitigate all the possible risk by
incorporating more effective teams who could find all the significant risk present in
development process of approached project. After deciding to mitigate the risk factors in the
project scenario Muller was able to continue his project development process.
Considering the above situation we feel that Muller has selected the right option to
proceed further with his project. As per the previous study on this mentioned case scenario it
has been identified that there is a significant impact of mitigating the identified risk as by
considering the IT industrial growth ignoring the risk could significantly harm the project.

Followed by the mentioned aspects it has been identified that apart from determining the risk
present in the case scenario there is a significant impact of the leadership as well as
organisational team management as in the project this the mentioned one communicating
with each of the stakeholders among organization is highly important other than that several
significant problem can arise.
How should he calibrate the progress hiccups to Max Scheming and the
Integration Management team? How would they react?
After analysing the case stud it has been identified the progressing with such large
project was very difficult and the chances of failure was high since, the developer has decided
to integrate such a large set of equipment’s into a single system. Followed by the objective to
successfully integrate the approached system the developer has decided to build several other
teams who will support the entire project development process. Considering this it has been
observed that there are several other tips and tricks present which has been accounted in order
to mitigate the identified risk related to the project development. Apart from the aspect to
mitigate the identified risk with more accurate actions it has been also noticed that it is highly
risky for the development team to work in such big size project as it holds a significant
impact towards the failure of the approached project. Hence, in the case scenario it is
mentioned that in order to proceed further with such large projects the organization needs to
account possible hiccups. Which includes the process to effectively mitigate the identified
risk as well as it has also mentioned that in order to execute such big approach the
communication among the team members as well as the team leaders holds a significant
impact on the success of the project. Followed by this aspects in the case scenario it has been
noticed that there is a huge necessity to develop such process by which the team and the team
members can easily response to the occurred situations which will help the developer to
reduce the response time as well as it will be very effective for them which considering the

success of the project. Along with defining the project scope risk management it has been
observed that the employ has reacted significantly in the mentioned situation where it has
been observed that they have tried to solve the identified problems however, due to the big
structure of the project the employs were not enough confident to work in such big project.
Hence, after discussing the above aspect it can be stated that the organization as well as the
developers’ needs to be more realistic in case of any development like this mentioned one, as
approaching such a big project with significant limitations cannot be completed with
efficiency.
