Background of the issue
The issue of bullying in school and academic institutions in the country had been rising at
an alarming rate. It was the realization of the founders Rosie and Lucy that bullying robs young
people of their potential and hence they set out to create a change they wished to see (Spears et
al., 2014). Project ROCKIT, provides a space where an individual are allowed to express
themselves and have respect, acceptance, creativity and social leadership (PROJECT ROCKIT,
2018).
Forming strategy maps
Project ROCKIT was founded to address the issues that the young individual face in their
daily lives and empower them to handle those issues and stand up to them when challenged. The
problems identified by the Project ROCKIT are in bullying and its effects in an individual
checking abuse of the cyber space including issues such as cyber safety and sexting (Schier,
2013). Addressing the rate of suicidal tendencies, criminal attitudes, and school dropouts due to
bullying. The strategy map will help to understand the stages of execution of the plans of Project
ROCKIT and achieve the desired outcomes. The next section will guide us through the strategy
map of Project ROCKIT (PROJECT ROCKIT, 2018).
