Introduction
The scope is activities that are involved in generating deliverables of the Project and the
processes used to create them. Scope management plan comprises of the processes required to
ensure all the necessary work is included in the Project. It helps to avoid unnecessary practice,
which is not aimed at achieving the goals of the Project. The following is a scope management
plan for Tarneit leisure and community center.
Requirements of Tarneit Leisure and Community center
Tarneit leisure and community center project has several requirements; the requirements
come in different types. The first requirement is land, where the center will be built; this Project
requires 6000 square meters of land in a secure place. The second requirement is money
amounting to $12 million.
Stakeholders of the Project
Tarneit leisure and community center project stakeholders include Everest construction
Pty are given the contract to build this center, government and residents are also stakeholders in
the Project.
Scope Statement
The Project aims to construct an exclusive innovative multi-generational health and
wellbeing hub. The main activities in this construction will be a leisure center, indoor sports
facility, and state-of-the-art aquatic.
The expected constraints during the construction of the Tarmeit leisure and community
center are as follows;
15% of the project budget available for contingency.
Only specific number of facilities will be built.
The leisure center has to allow for appropriate roadside parking as well, that will

new Tarneit leisure and community center project.
The fluctuation of the prices of raw materials will not exceed 12% during the
project period.
Scope Planning and Execution
PMBOK is the methodology to be used in the Project. The project life cycle has four
phases which are, initiation, planning, execution, and closing phase.
The initiation phase is supposed to address the goal, specification, and responsibilities. It is
scheduled to be through by 30/10/2021. The planning phase has activities like staffing, budget,
resources, and risk analysis. Status reports, project changes, and quality control are the activities
involved in the execution phase, while document inspection and hand over are closing phase
activities.

to delegate duties to his project team basing on the specialization.
