PART 1
Project description
The project management is being defined as the steps being included within the
successful completion of the project. The reason underlying this fact is that in case the project is
organized by keeping in mind the project management steps then this will result in successful
completion of the project. In the present case, the project being undertaken is the organizing of
the event for fund raising for a charity organization (Abdilahi, Fakunle and Fashina, 2020). For
raising the charity, the company is being organizing the musical event and with help of this event
the funds generated will be provided to the charity organization. This project will be beneficial
for generating more of the funds as the music is being liked by majority of the people and in case
music event will be organized then more people will come. Thus, the event of music will be
assisting the company in raising more funds and this will be provided to the charity organization.
PART 2
Project scope statement
The project scope statement is a detailed document which involves the aim and
deliverables of the project. This outlines all the details of the project like the assumption,
constraint and all other inclusion and exclusions (How to Develop a Project Scope Statement in 8
Steps, 2021).
Scope description
The scope of project is very wide and this will assist the company in raising the funds in
proper and easier manner. In addition to this, the project will be addressing wide range of people,
but the major target will be young people as they will be liking the music more. Hence, as a
result of this, more fund will be raised and this will be improving the working of charity
organization. The scope of project will involve the following-
 Focusing on the largest target market so that more funds can be arranged.
 Exploring the venue and infrastructure so that more visitors get attracted towards it.
 Providing the facility of both online and in case payment services to the people so that
more funds can be generated.
 Working on proper marketing of the event so that more people have knowledge relating
to the event and show their presence.

Deliverables
The deliverable is being defined as the output whether be it tangible or intangible output
of the project idea (Al-Rubaiei, Nifa and Musa, 2018). In the present case of event organizing for
the purpose of fundraising the following project deliverables need to be attained-
 Provide the quality services to the people coming for the event. This is necessary because
in case quality services will not be provided to the consumer or spectators then this will
not satisfy them and as a result of this event will fail. Also, this might result in raising of
less funds and the event objective may not be attained.
 Proper management and coordination of the all the services and especially the technical
aspect. The reason pertaining to the fact is that in case there will be any technical issue
while the music concert is taking place then this will be affecting the quality of the
service and people will have to wait.
 Another deliverable for the project of organising music event for fundraising is the to
ensure that the venue must be clean and properly sanitised. This is necessary to be
ensured for better safety of the people coming to the event.
 Along with this, another deliverable for the success of the project is to have proper
contingency plan in order to face any kind of risk. This is necessary because there can be
any kind of contingency being faced at or during the event. Hence, it is necessary that
proper emergency medical kits, fire safety equipment, emergency exist and all other
related things are being present.
 Moreover, along with this, it is also crucial for the project manager that all the collected
funds must be handed over to the charity organization on time and in safe manner
(Ahmad, Rehman and Ilyas, 2019). The reason underlying this fact is that in case there
will be delay or any issue while handing over the money to the charity organization then
this will result in non- accomplishment of objective of project.
Assumptions
The assumptions are some of the estimation which are taken while deciding the project
and implementing the steps. It is necessary that proper assumptions are being made so that the
project can get successful and more funds can be attained. The major assumption for the project
of fundraising is as follows-

 The first and foremost assumption for the completion of the project of fundraising is that
the completion of the event will be done in the time decided (Malyeyeva and et.al.,
2019). This is necessary to assume this, as in case there will be delay within the project
then the objectives will not be attained.
 In addition to this, another assumption is that the estimated cost will be same and the
project will be accomplished in the budgeted amount only.
 Moreover, it is also assumed that all the resources being present for the completion of the
event will be optimally used and this will result in success of the event and raising of the
estimated fund.
Constraints
The constraints are the one which might affect the working of the company or project
getting successful. This is pertaining to the fact that these constraint makes the project
unsuccessful. The constraint affecting the project involves the following-
 There can be mismanagement within the budget and this can affect the successful
completion of the project.
 Along with this another constraint relating to the project is that there might be some
interpersonal conflict and this might affect the working and evaluation of the project.
Inclusions
This involves the things which need to be included while working or executing the project. The
list of inclusion of project of event for fundraising is following-
 All the people having the entry pass will only be considered as guest.
 Along with this, people using the other facility at the event will also be charged and will
be added in the funds to be provided to the charity organization.
Exclusion
 The people who are not having the gate pass or entry pass will not be entertained.
 Food and eatables item taking from outside the event venue will not be allowed to take.
Acceptance criteria
This is being defined as the success criteria with help of which it can be stated that the
project has become successful. The acceptance criteria for the event of fundraising through
music event are as follows-
 The event must have collected at least 80 % of the total budgeted funds to be raised.

 Along with this another acceptance criterion for the project is that the fund collection
must not be forced rather it must be according to the choice of donor themselves.
PART 3
Work breakdown structure
The work breakdown structure is being defined as the hierarchical outline which divides
the different task of the project in order of their completion. This is a hierarchical order which
outlines that after which task the other task will come (Lampa and et.al., 2017). This provides an
outline to the company or any other person that how the project need to be accomplished.

With the above WBS it is clear that how the completion of the project is being divided in
different stages. For making the project successful it is necessary for the company that they use
and follow all these stages in proper and same sequence.
The WBS dictionary

The WBS dictionary is the one which provides meaning of all the stages present within
the WBS. The WBS dictionary for the present music event of fundraising is as follows-
Initiation stage
1.1.1 Developing aim of
project
In this stage inclusion of aim of the project is being undertaken and
it is very crucial to clearly communicate the objectives. Any
miscommunication of objective and aim of the project will be
excluded.
1.1.2 Analysing the
deliverables
Deliverable includes the things which will be delivered by the
project completion. Thus, it is necessary to clearly set as in case
deliverables will not be met then this will result in ineffective
attainment of project objectives. In this, the major excluded element
will be use of wrong or double meaning words to avoid any
miscommunication.
1.1.3 Finding key
resources
Resources are very important for the success of the project, as
without this the project cannot be accomplished. Hence, deciding the
resources and its application is very important and will be focused in
inclusion criteria (Shirazi, Kazemipoor and Tavakkoli-Moghaddam,
2017). For this market research will be conducted and different
source for arranging resource will be analysed and most cost
effective will be used.
1.1.4 Deciding budget Finance is the most essential aspect and in case finance will not be
there the project will not be successful. Thus, the sources of finance
will be evaluated before starting the project. This is necessary as
when the project will not be having proper finance then this will
affect it operation. The exclusion criteria involves the no payment
will be delayed.

1.1.5 Final approval In this stage the outline of the project will be submitted to the higher
management and will be provided to them for getting the approval.
