1ANALYSIS OF PROJECT SCOPE AND SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT
Overview of project:
The purpose of this project is to design a vehicle maintenance facility that provides
maintenance services for corporate vehicles. Along with this, it will also provide parking
facility including paving and building which contains a high bay space. This area needs to be
large enough so that it is capable of parking large vehicles for example pick-up tracks along
with small vehicle for example light vans. Therefore, this area needs to be chosen properly
for effective car parking facility.
Area which is allocated for high bay space will be allocated for servicing vehicles. There will
be four service bays which contains roll-up doors at both ends as well. Along with this space
there will be also an attached office and area allocated for training of employees as well. This
is to ensure that servicing is of high quality and ensure consumer satisfaction as well.
Project goals and objectives:
Goals and objectives are two of the most important aspects that provided strategic direction to
a project and this is what ensures success in a project (Kerzner, 2017). Therefore, it is
important to define project goals and objectives before initiating a project (Whitaker, 2016).
Therefore, in this context, goals and objectives of this project are described in details to
provide a comprehensive idea regarding what this project is trying to achieve and how it will
be achieved through application of proper strategies (Sanghera, 2019).
Goals of this project:
The goal of this project is to design a vehicle maintenance facility which not only ensures
superior service quality but to offer consumer value for money for services that they obtain
from this organization. It is to ensure consumer satisfaction and establish this organization
one of the leading service provider for corporate vehicle maintenance facility as well.

2ANALYSIS OF PROJECT SCOPE AND SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT
Objectives of this project:
Design a vehicle maintenance facility that optimizes spaces for effective service:
In order to ensure service quality, it is important to provide quality service faster so that
consumers get their vehicles serviced quickly and for this large service space will be
allocated for servicing of vehicles as well.
Ensure quality in servicing:
In order to quality to serving, employee training is of prime importance and this is why it is
essential. Objective of this project is to allow on-site training. Therefore, facility of training
will be provided by allocating space while designing this vehicle maintenance facility.
Reduce time for vehicle registration and process consumer servicing requirements
quickly:
This is an important objective regarding enhancement of consumer satisfaction which is
required for obtaining goal of this project as described in this context. Therefore, space will
be allocated for an attached office so that process of registration is not only faster but it also
requires less time for processing service requirements of consumers as well.
Project scope statement:
In this project, plan for designing a vehicle maintenance facility for providing maintenance
services for corporate vehicles. Along with this, a plan will be also provided regarding how to
provide an effective parking facility that also includes paving and building including a high
bay space. This area will be optimized so that it is capable of parking large vehicles which
include pick-up tracks along with small vehicle for example light vans.
In order to ensure effective implementation for project strategies, a communication plan will
be provided so that it is easier to communicate project requirements and strategies with
