1.1 Project scope management
1.1.1 Scope Description
This project aims to organize the Wimbledon tennis tournament in the UK, with the aim of
enhancing the prestige and global brand of the tournament. To accomplish this goal, the
project team will plan to organize the tournament in the period from Monday 3 July – Sunday
16 July with an expected budget of $ 68,500,000.
The project scope consists of the survey, design, planning, implementing, operating, and
monitoring all activities related to Wimbledon 2017 hold in London Borough of Merton.
