Introduction:
Project management is the practice toll for the planning, initiating, executing, controlling
and closing of the work of the team for achieving of the specific goals, and also for meeting with
user requirement which is specific (Adenowo & Adenowo, 2013). The main challenge of the
project management is to achieve all the goals related to the project within the provided deadline.
Uber launched a new driver app which is also known as the Uber driver (Alshamrani &
Bahattab, 2015). It helps the passengers to get the smarter real time information regarding the
cabs which are registered in the Uber. This app supports the customer as the partner at every
point of the time. The primary objective is this project is to demonstrate the selection procedure
of the project management (Cooper & Sommer, 2016). It also discusses regarding the initial
procedure of the said project. This report concludes how the Uber driver is helpful for the
society.
Project management Approaches:
There are different project management approaches which are available for the project
management. The approaches are described as follows:
Waterfall model:
This is one of the efficient project management methodologies. This model is widely
used in Software engineering for success of the project. It is first known presentation describing
the waterfall model which is developed by Herbert D (Drake, Myung Lee & Hussain, 2013).

important view of certain software which is commonly used for the practice of the software
design (Kerzner, 2017). The term Waterfall model is first coined by two scientists named Bell
and Thayer. In the year 1985, the Department of Defense of the United States of America used
this methodology in their product named DOD-STD-2167A (Marcelino et al., 2014). There are
different steps which are related to the waterfall model:
Requirement gathering and analysis
Feasibility study
Design of the system
Implementation of the system
Integration and Testing of the software
Deploy of the system
Maintenance of the system
Scrum model:
Scrum model is the part of the agile model. It takes the project at the center position and
continues the development process with the help of the team member (Popli & Chauhan, 2013).

Agile model:
It is collection of the incremental and the iterative model. It is an effective software
development methodology (Rivero et al., 2014). This model focuses on the adaptability of the
project and also deals with the satisfaction of the customer. Agile model divides the project into
the small incremental parts. This builds are delivered in the form of the iterations. Each of these
is exists from one to the three weeks (Špundak, 2014). The agile methodology uses four core
values for developing software. This includes:
The team and individual person are interacting among them over the different
processes and the tools
The working software is working on the documentation which are comprehensive
in nature.
Customer will collaborate among each other for the negotiation in the contract.
Response to the change over the previously mentioned plan.

For developing an efficient project, the project management tool is a very efficient one.
The different project management tools are described below:
Gantt chart:
This type chart is required for the scheduling of the project (Popli & Chauhan, 2013). The
Gantt chart is the horizontal bar chart for project development and it is used for the project
management tool. It is the tool which is developed in the year 1917. It also provides the illusion
which is graphical in nature can be implemented (Marcelino et al., 2014). It will have used to
track specific task in the project development (Kerzner, 2017). Simple Gantt Charts are created
graphically in the graph paper and can be created more complex graph by using the automated
tools. Horizontal bars which have the varying length is used to represent the sequences, the
timing and many others (Joslin & Müller, 2015). A vertical axis represents the task that makes
the project more efficient in nature. The Gantt chart can be implemented very efficiently in this
project.
Network diagram:
It is the visual representation of the network arc architecture. It is an appropriate way for
sharing the network. It has the many different symbols. They can be ranged from the personal

processes of the management of the time:
Planning of the schedule management
Defining of the activities of the project

Risk assessment:
During the development of any project it will face the risk. For handling the risk very
efficiently risk assessment methodology needs to be used. The project risk management plan is
delivering the process which is behind the assessment of the risk (Kerzner, 2017). It is allowing
the team of the project which is used to identify, prioritize, and avoid the risks which are far
ahead of the time. Risk assessment is the step of the procedure of the risk management. The risk

Uber driver app is the most popular app in the world. Before implementing the new
version of this app, the company faced thirty-eight challenges as per feedback given by the
drives and the passengers. The new software is updated because the drivers are quite unsatisfied
about the previous version of the software. This new software provides the flexibility in picking
up the passengers from the different locations (Cooper & Sommer, 2016). For developing this
kind of the app agile methodology is the most important one. Agile method has lots of
advantages that is why it is used in the uber driver app. The reason why uber is using the agile
methodology is:
Uber Company wants the customer satisfaction by rapid and continuous manner.
People and interactions are needed rather than using the process and tools. By
using this app, customer, developer and tester are constantly interacting with

After the completion of this report it can be concluded that this project is discussed
deeply regarding the project management and its different tools. Followed by the most
appropriate project for the Uber Driver App the significant aspects which are required for the
project of the selected organization for the betterment of that organization. Agile methodology is
used for the Uber Driver app project. This report will also successfully have described the
different project management tools which includes Gantt Chart, Network diagram, and many
others. At last, it will efficiently describe how the risk assessment can be done in order to enrich
the efficiency of that project. Uber has the huge scope for expanding the market very efficiently.
It is also observed that by using this new application the Uber driver can give the better
performance to the customer who will increase the popularity of the said organization.
