prcatices for improving the current app of Uber drivers. It will offer a directive approach and
excellent driving experiences to the Uber drivers. The PMBOK project management process
deals with different knowledge areas such as scope, schedule, time, cost, procurement,
communication, risk, quality, resource, stakeholders and integration. Different approaches of
project management practices are there and each of these approaches are compared and
contrasted in this essay.
It is expected that if the project management practices are accurately applied for
developing UberNewDriver app then the owners will obtain higher level of competitive
advantages and commercial excellence as well. However, certain risks are identified for the

comes negative then the business will face loss (Kaiser, Arbi & Ahlemann, 2015). Thus, projects
that has higher benefit cost ratio are always chosen over the lower cost benefit ratio.
Scoring model: This is the other widely used project selection method. In this process
the method selection committee first enlists the weighs and application criteria based on the
project priorities and its importance. As soon as the project scoring is finished the project with a
higher score is chosen by the project managers.
Payback period: The process of payback period helps to define the ratio between net
cost and the average cost paid per period. Whatever cost will be invested for the projects are
required to be recovered within time and this specific time is always calculated with the help of
payback period. The payback period is referred to as one of the very basic project selection
method (Malhotra & Ackfeldt, 2016). This timeframe calculates the net time that would be
required to recover the total cost that has been invested for the project progress and development.
This is one of the easiest project section method as in this process the involved risks are always
neglected.
Constrained optimistic method: The constrained optimistic method is comprises of
five different phases in terms of linear programming, non linear programming, integer
