The project management is the process of initiating; planning, executing, control, as well as the
closing of the work done by a team in order, achieve the specific objectives within the specified
time period. The main challenge within the project management is to accomplish the project
goals within given constraint. This essay is prepared in order to examine different project
selection methods which can be applied appropriately in the Uber’s project. The processes of
conducting these methods will also be discussed in such a report. There is also considered the
guide of PMBOK in order to describe the initial process group of a project and the important
documents which are generally created as the input for the new project. There has been taken the
example of Uber’s new app development project as a case study and the project management
methodologies are used in order to analyze such a project.

best Taxi Services apps which are providing the best services to their riders and customers. A
user-friendly experience is being provided to the customers booking their cabs or ordering for the
food delivery. There has been identified the requirement of adopting the new app which can be
useful for the drivers and providing them the feasibility at the workplace. The Uber app is
considered as the workplace for the drivers. Uber is now looking forward to finishing touches on
the from- scratch rebuild of the driver app. This is a very important project for the company.
The project selection methods are a very important concept which helps the organizations to
make the decisions regarding selecting the projects out of the alternative projects. As a project
manager, there is always needed to make decisions regarding which project must be
implemented. As a team, there is a requirement of analyzing all the factors contributing towards
the project such as customer requirements, objectives of the organization, budget as well as the
scheduling. The most valuable asset of any business is its time. The profitability of a business
depends on the effective use of the time and it also requires not involving in such projects which
are taking a lot of time and they relatively produce the lesser amount of value from such project.
The bad choice of the project can lead to the failure of the project as well as the business. It is
very necessary to make use of the evaluation approaches that can be useful in identifying the
value of the projects.
One of these models is the mathematical model which is also called as the constrained
