2.1. Major Features
Food mood offering app is developed for letting an user order food from their smart
phone or other handheld devices from the available range of restaurants within their city. The
following are the main feature that would help the application to become a user friendly app.
It has a simple user friendly interface that does everything for the user and updates the
restaurant and the user about the price, menus and make it convenient and easy for
increasing the reliability (Rivera et al., 2016). On starting the application the GPS is
used for detection of the current location of the user and deliver the food to that
location.
It provides the menus and details about the each of the menu and the links it with the
profile of the chef
It provides choice to the user to get home cooked food by connecting with the chef
and getting food delivered from their home.
2.2. Scope of Initial Release
For initially realising the application a research is needed to be conducted on the
needs of the application and the current problems with the food ordering application should
also be understood. A system model is needed to be created including all the functionality of
the system and the system is divided into three logical components such as WEB ordering
system, menu management system and order retrieval system (Knight-Agarwal et al., 2015).
The initial release of the application should allow the user to get discount for using the
application since there are many competitors and the success of the application depends on
the involvement of the user to use the application and service. The market structure should be
analysed and the stagey that can fit with the current market condition should be applied.
