PROMOTION OF EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY
The community events or program creates a strong connection in the social context
that allows maintenance of the new relationship, acquiring new skills, stay connected and
improving the mental status of individuals. However, numerous barriers prevent them from
participating in community programs or events. In a general context, one of the most well-
known examples that affect attendance in the events is the clients do not have access to
transport that limit people visiting the area. According to Ms and Jessica (2016), lack of
promotions, issues related to communication about the events or programs, structural
problems such as timing, inappropriateness in service delivery, and focus on ethno-social
group or culturally difference are some of the examples that affect the attendees in a
community event or program. The event is not using any strategies of communicating the
purpose or motive; as a result, people are unaware of it or do not know the reason for its
occurrence. This affects the scope and purpose, and thus, it does not fulfil the motive of the
gathering or promoting any agenda (Tint, Maughan & Weiss, 2017). Therefore, there is a
requirement to assist clients in overcoming these barriers. The timing of the event can be
adopted in such a way that it is convenient for the attendees and they do not have any
occupational bindings that hold them back. The promotional aspects of the event or program
need to be strengthened in a stable manner that effectively conveys the message to the
audience before the event. This will help the clients to understand the importance and attend
it. In addition, sharing can be done that will help in resolving the multifactorial element that
will help in service delivery in an effective manner.
