INTRODUCTION
Providing the public of the United Kingdom about the data as well as the resources which
they are require to enhance their well-being and enhancing the skills and the abilities of the
public. This report will cover the promotion of the health needs regarding eating among the
public which is quite essential for the old age group. This report will also cover the various
impacts of lack of healthy eating among the older adults and to overcome the leading cause a
promotion campaign has been established so that the older adults can acquire the essential things
or information to stay healthy and fit as well (Barnett, Zhang, Johnston and Cerin, 2018).
MAIN BODY
TASK 1.
A healthy eating can commonly reduce the risk of developing the chronic illness
conditions such as cardiovascular illness and diabetes and many more. Eating healthy food
component can generally provide them to live their life healthier as well as live a quality of life
(Falck and et. al., 2019).
To achieve all such thing, the Health Services are specifically working with their co-
partners across all the health and social care sectors. The National Health Services should
conduct the well-being promotion interventions for the older adults which can particularly focus
on the diet as well as the physical activities and these are as stated below:
Well-being education: In this, the well-being promotion is generally concerned with
promoting the healthy lifestyle and its illness as well. Providing education about the health can
prevent the adults from several illnesses which are caused due to lack of healthy eating. The
education of the well-being is particularly troubled with notifying the older adults about the
several well-being problems (Villalonga-Olives and Kawachi, 2017).
Education of nutrition: In this, an educational approach towards the promotions of the
well-being on eating healthy can contains an importance such as providing an enough knowledge
about the nutritional components towards the older adults can enhance their lifestyle. Providing
knowledge about the healthy eating can also make the older adults to live a quality of life
(Hooker, Masters and Park, 2018).
Dietary modification strategies: In this, an older adult generally contains a unique
requirements of the nutrition’s which are largely based on the several modifications their bodies

are specifically go through. It is crucial to ensure about that they must receive an adequate
amount of the nutrition so as to prevent some serious medical situations.
TASK 2.
Main aim of doing this report is to aware the older people about the healthy eating as it
can provide them enough energy to fulfil their daily tasks. Through the help of this artefact, it
can provide awareness towards the old age public so that they can effectively know about the
causative reasons which can negatively impact over their well-being due to lack of healthy
eating. In this artefact, the targeted audience in this is the old age group of people who
specifically does not contains enough knowledge about the nutritional amount to make their life
healthier. The type of artefact that is used to develop an awareness among the older people is
Media. With the help of media, the awareness about the healthy eating has been created as it is
the most powerful tool. Through the social media, the promotion of healthy eating can be
effectively done (Rodriguez-Amaya, 2019).
In this, Promoting of the well-being behaviours is broadly an ideal behavioural result in
the promotional models. It can aid the old age people to pursue their better well-being or an ideal
vigour through their behaviour. In this, it generally involves the theories of health which can
particularly aid to acquire a healthy eating among the older adults and are as mentioned below:
Social cognitive theory
Health belief models
Trans-theoretical theory
In this, the concept of social cognitive theory generally provides the knowledge for
designing the nutrition education as well as the physical activity programs for the public. It is a
systematic review which specifically involves an objective to evaluate the efficacy of an
intervention studies that is based on the social cognitive theory in decreasing or preventing the
leading cause of obesity as well as the conditions of overweight among people (Blüher, 2019). In
this, with the elevating requirements for the theory-based intervention programs which generally
aims the behavioural modifications. In addition to this, the health belief models are generally one
of the very most broadly used frameworks that is developed to understand the behaviours of the
