Activities to promote communication development
Communication development is the process implemented for three areas thar are
speaking, listening and writing (May-Mederake, 2012). For the development of these skills
different innovative methods are adopted. In that regard three activities are conducted.
Activity 1:: Treasure Hunt
This activity focus on the identification of objects and the speaking. With the inculcation
of different props and items there is the set of activities organised. In this different types of

objects are places at different places having a certain kind of linkages in them. Further, through
asking questions related to them, the activity is processed.
Activity 2: Story challenge
It is the activity in which through the narration of different types of stories children are
able to respond in that manner effectively. Further, in imbibe the skills of intonation of different
sounds (Thorne and Smith, 2011).
Activity 3: Role play
Role play is focussed on enhancing the writing skills and creating enabling them to
portray different stories and enhance vocabulary.
Activity 1
For listening
Listening is an essential part of the language development, hence in order to enhance this
it is imperative to develop the attention skills along with listening abilities. It was facilitated by
enabling them to play in environment free from distractions, encouraging to share their focus and
increasing their interaction with family members. Further, through symbolic sounds and
motivating sound games has helped significantly.
Evaluation: It has increased the attention of the kid and became responsive. Such as they are able
understand the meaning of more number of words and make better use of it. Listening plays
important part in the children's language development process. It is to be effectively developed
for ensuring the adequate amount and efficient growth and upliftlent. The activity used will help
in developing the listening ability with the manner adopted through scientific approach. In this
way he is able to learn new things.

segments. Further, activity 1 with the creative approach to enable the thinking of children with
the approach to enable learning object identification and speaking make the child's language
developed (Icommunication, 2016). There are different techniques to observe language
development in children in different aspects of learning. For instance, in speaking it is observed
through clarity of words, pronunciation, number of new words used and better delivery of

Language is the set of certain norms and rules which is used for the communication. It is
through this medium the ideas, beliefs, feelings and thoughts are transmitted from one person to
