The psychiatric nursing and care is the process that has improved and accepted
multiple changes overtime so that they could help the patients to understand the important of
it and develop skills that would be included in the care process (Creamer & Austin, 2017).
Therefore, these change has made me evolve as a nursing professional so that I could
understand the importance of it and hence it has improved my nursing skills as well.
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) demanded multiple skills and I
aimed that I would be able to provide effective care to the patients in the care process
(Orthwein, 2017).
Answer 2
The nursing theory that should be analysed and included in the care process is the
Peplau’s therapeutic nurse-client relationship/inter-personal theory. As per this theory, it is
important for the nursing professionals to understand the inter- professional nursing process
so that they could develop a nice rapport between the nurse and the patient. This also helps
the nursing professionals to expand their knowledge and then conduct the process effectively
so that they could understand the importance of it (Chapman et al., 2018).

I will try to ensure quality screening and early intervention along with integrated care
technologies for the patients to enhance their care and address the acute care psychiatric
needs.in addition to this, I will continue to ordinate, advocate, enhance and advance high
quality mental health care for patients, irrespective of their cultural backgrounds.
Hence, it is important to understand the importance of the care process so that I could
understand the vision of the care process (Creamer & Austin, 2017).
