AI Summary
This report delves into the realm of psychological research methods, emphasizing the significance of the scientific method in conducting and interpreting research. It highlights the importance of the scientific method in formulating hypotheses and analyzing results. The report then examines the application of psychological research methods in the context of space studies, providing a comparative analysis of the methods used in both fields. It showcases the differences between psychological and space studies research methods, focusing on the study of the universe using space technology and the methods of analyzing data in psychology, including personality, developmental, and comparative psychology. The report also provides references to support the claims made.

PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH METHOD 1
Scientific method
The scientific method is an empirical method of obtaining the knowledge that describes
the advancement of science. It consists of in-depth inspection or concerning the accurate
uncertainties regarding the observed things (Drummond & Fischhoff, 2017). It also proposes that
the cognitive statement can leads distortion in the interpretation of observation.
Importance of scientific method in research
The scientific method is considered important in research because it helps in conducting
the research related to the topic, in this researcher also formulate the hypothesis and can test the
results through experimentation (Montesanto, 2015). It also helps in recording as well as
analyzing the results by observation and represents the conclusions.
Psychological Research Methods
Psychological Research refers in studying the actions for the usage in the academic
background as well as includes several areas (Brooks, McCluskey, Turley, & King, 2015). The
studying of psychological research methods in space studies course is considered significant
because it helps in providing the advanced knowledge about the most recent methods (Hitt &
González-Martín, 2015). However, through this the researcher gets the training about all the
latest techniques which all involve in the study of space course. The researcher can also learn the
methods of studying about the universe by focusing on the methods of psychological research
that is experimental psychology (Šiman, Filipová, Ticha, Niang, Bezrouk, & Havelek, 2016).
Differences in Psychological and Space Studies Research Methods
The space studies research method is different from the psychological research method
because the space study research method considered in studying in-depth about the usage of
space technology to do the observation about the universe (Šiman, Filipová, Ticha, Niang,
Bezrouk, & Havelek, 2016). However, the space studies methods involve all the studies about
the environment of space research whereas the psychological research method refers to analyzing
the data, finding conclusion. In this the study is conducted which is related to the psychology that
is personality psychology, developmental as well as comparative psychology.
