MAIN BODY
P1 Range of psychological perspective and how they explain human behaviour
Psychology is related to scientific study that how individual think, feel as well as
behave (Glavas and Radic, 2019). There are several range of psychological perspective
explanation of these in relation of human behaviour are mention below :-
Biological approach – Biopsychologists look that how individual person nervous
system, hormones as well as genetic makeup give impact on their behaviour.
Moreover, it simply explore connection within mental states, brain, nerves and
hormones for exploring thoughts, moods as well as actions which are shaped (Sharma
and et. al., 2020).
Behavioural approach – It has been believed by behaviour psychologist that external
environmental stimuli result in influencing individual behaviour that cant be trained
for acting in certain manner. Moreover, they believe that individual learn by system of
reinforcement as well as punishment.
These are psychological perspectives related to human behaviour and have wide impact on
individual and practices which they are conducting for their daily basis activities and so on.
M1 Similarities and difference between psychological perspectives
Difference between biological approach and behavioural approach of psychological
perspective are as follows :-
Biological approach Behavioural approach
It has been assumed by biological
model that mental disorder is
because of physical causes (Liu and
et. al., 2019).
BIG B: Biochemistry, genetics,
infection as well as brain damage
can describe abnormal behaviour.
Moreover, biological approach focus
in genetic, hormonal as well as
neuro chemical explanation related
to behaviour.
By all behaviour it has been learned
that every individual born with
tabula rasa.
In addition to this, abnormal
behaviour can be described through
classical conditioning, operant
conditioning and social learning
theory (Vaillancourt and Krems,
2018).
On the other hand, behaviour is
learned from environment through

conditioning.
Apart from these differences, there are several similarities also within biological and
behavioural approach. One major similarity within both approaches is that they both are
deterministic as well as imply that human have no free will. In addition to this, another
similarity is that both have practical application which provide assistance in improving
quality of human life (Erle and Topolinski, 2017). Thus, it can be said that psychological
perspective i.e., biological approach and behavioural approach both have different differences
as well as similarities among them.
D1 understanding and knowledge of psychological perspectives and social influence is
relevant to the public services.
Psychological perspective as well as social influence have wide influence on
behaviour of people who are serving public because every individual have different
