An empirical journal is peer reviewed, meaning it contains information which can be
used for a valid research. An empirical journal, for instance, can be written by a professor of
psychology. After writing, the article is taken for review by other professors of psychology
before the article can be accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. In most cases,
articles are not easily accepted for print, leading to about only one percent of the articles being
accepted for publication. This leads to the highest possible quality of information available on
the topic discussed (Donaldson, Dollwet and Rao 2015). On the other hand, a magazine contains
information that has not been authenticated and is majorly provided as a representation of
somebody’s individual opinion of a certain theory. Empirical journal is used by researchers in
various fields while magazines can be used by any member of the public.
Question 2:
When conducting the research on obesity, first I will identify the primary question which
the research seeks to answer. Then I will outline the key words which are used in most cases
with the disorder. After that, I will combine the key words into valid phrases and search for the
relevant articles from the university library website and determine what types of articles they are.
I will rely majorly on the peer reviewed journals and course books for valid literature review.

Introduction
The study on the attraction existing between two different things has been done in the
past. However, still, it cannot be clearly defined whether in reality opposites attract. In this study,
the idea of opposites attract is further explored.
Research Question
To determine if in reality opposites attract, this study tries to answer the following key
question.
Do the rich people interact more closely with the poor?

Hypothesis: There is relatively no significant evidences of interaction between the wealthy and
the poor.
Tim Wise, in “Under the affluence: shaming the poor, praising the rich and sacrificing
the future of America,” asserts that the rich attract the rich while the poor attract their fellows
who are poor (Wise 2015). In the article, Wise points to different times in the American history
when resources were still equitably distributed. However, he says that currently the rich in
America blame the poor for the falling of the economy. In a more significant point of view, if the
poor and the rich would attract one another, there would be no blamed. It shows that these rich
people want to be associated with their wealthy counterparts so that they can increase their
businesses.
