 Personalities of the individuals influence their behaviour
 The environment also plays an important role
 In this study, psychological perspectives have been analysed

At least two approaches (theories) used in
psychology and assess the similarities and
differences between these theories
 Psychodynamic perspective
an unconscious psychological process is
emphasized by psychodynamic
perspective
 Freud's psychodynamic theory, id,
ego and super ego are the major parts
of the personality of an individual
 Humanism perspective
Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory
indicates that the basic needs of the
individuals need to be fulfilled

 Rogers' personality theory states that all the individuals require a
comfortable environment
 The prison officers have to understand the ways of developing
potential of the prisoners are different
 Personal construct theory states that the personal constructs of the
individuals develop based on the external environment

After involving in-group work, the
individuals sometimes refuse to give
their full contribution as the whole work
is divided among the team members
 In case of social loafing, the individuals
can minimise their efforts
 People can experience
deindividuation as well as bystander
effect while they are performing as a
team.

Conformity and Obedience:
 Conformity can change the behaviour of any individual while they are
facing pressure from their group
 In case of Obedience, the individuals obey the orders of their superiors
to improve their performance
Prejudice and discrimination:
 An unjustified attitude of the people towards any individual due to the
involvement of any specific social group in known as prejudice

Conclusion
 The individual can be involved in anti-social activities if their needs
remain incomplete
 People should receive love and care from their family members so that
they can understand how to behave in society
 Due to poor education, poverty and insufficient support from the
family members, people sometimes unable to develop their personality
