1PSYCHOLOGY
The concept of the secular combatants and the Christian combatants has been shown in
this scenario. It has been said in the prescribed book that the approach of these sections are quite
alike in all the aspects. The secular combatants are those people whose overall views about
religion are completely opposite to that of the various religious beliefs. These people have
already rejected the modernist views of authority. They will try to exercise the autonomy of the
human reasons in various ways (Entwistle, 2015). The Christian combatants or the religious
combatants are completely opposite to this kind of worldview. They have bridged the gap
between the psychology and theology and connected them both for the better understanding. The
statement is partly agreeable since the difference between these two thoughts could be found in
the Enemies Model (Entwistle, 2015).
On the other hand, it might be argued that there is every possibility that these two
sections can engage with each other so the broader perspectives of this union can be seen
(Entwistle, 2015). It should be mentioned regarding this issue that the discipline is the only thing
that should bear the truth in this context. The intellectual discourse has been shown by the
secular combatants who have shown their tenacity in bringing forth all the important matters in
terms of psychology (Entwistle, 2015). The Christian combatants can help the Secular
combatants in their quest to build up the human reason by stopping the corruptions through the
religious authorities. The views of the secular combatants will provide better aspects regarding
the mental health.
