In conclusion, a psychologist is one who studies human behavior by examining the mind. The goal and or interest
of the psychologist, is to understand the unexplained “how’s and Why’s” of human behavior and what role the
mind plays in the human behavior. It is the psychologist profession to help other’s become more aware and
conscious of their actions and behavior, i.e. cognition, emotions, decision making, life experience etc., ultimately
resulting in others betterment of themselves, primarily by providing awareness of the mind and its function in
human behavior.
Which are of psychology is most interesting to you, and why?
I would say Forensic Psychology. I find that those who commit crimes that are unheard of or deemed unhuman to
be interesting. There is a fine line between thinking of killing or causing harm to others and actually going through
with the act. Every action is a thought at first and I would like to understand how the mind works of a human who
first considers killing and then who ultimately kills.
