I am writing this letter to you on the behalf of my patient Miss Glenda, she is my client and
recently gone through a psychometric test. She was referred to the psychological at sunrise
hospital mental health unit for assessment following being admitted under the mental health act
2016. She was founded by the police wandering at the street.
Hot family detail and social history is that she lives with her husband in Inverell. She is mother of
two children name George and tem. She was raised in rural Australia where she is eldest sister in
five children with three boys and two girls. She attended the local school and gain apprenticeship
in a local bakery at the age of 14. She has a wide circle of friends in her life where she recently
retired and express feeling lost without the routine of attending work. In context to her medical
history it was very clear that she has a complicated medical history until the age of 55 year when
she was given diagnosis of hypertension and diabetes. She is not a smoker and undesirable hustle
on social drink where she reports consuming 4 to 5 standard drinks per day. She recently go
through psychometric test where the results are as follows.
The patient's MMSE score is below the cut-off score (23) that has been shown in clinical trials to
be the most successful in detecting dementia. As her performance is linked to the performance of
persons of comparable age and education level from the MMSE standard study, the likelihood of
cognitive dysfunction typical of dementia is further confirmed. She is facing difficulties in,
Orientation to Time, Orientation to Place, Comprehension, Reading, Writing and Drawing.

Strengths and Limitations of Psychometric Testing
According to me there are a number of advantages and disadvantages of psychometric
test conducted on different clients in patients with the healthiest after. This includes various
things which must be considered as an advantage as well as actors and disadvantage in order to
conduct the test. To measure advantage of conducting this test is that it is accurate and
appropriate. The results that are obtained within this method are accurate and appropriate than the
result obtained from different other means. These results are studied reliable and unbiased and
provide appropriate information about the client condition for staff the second advantage of
psychometric test according to me is that it help in in conducting the test in cheapest way to
acquires resolves. As these kids are relatively cheap to acquire as much as private statistical
information for producing appropriate type of assessment. The last advantage of psychometric
test is that IT act as an unbiased approach. Under this method the all functioning work toward
unbiased and know kind of favourite same will be involved. If a candidate answer the question
correctly then he and she will be selected otherwise it will not. This really supports unbiased
approach in a simple manner so that can be implemented appropriately on any condition within
the business or the healthcare sector.
Along with the large number of benefits of using psychometric test there are some
limitations which are identified by me. Companies are combined into the buying now psycho
matric test as the necessary psycho matrix full stop as the results company add struggling to find
out and desirable result full stop this method can be saved easily but providing illusions in
presenting the complete picture in inappropriate form. One more major disadvantage of the
psychometric test is related to making the candidate nervous. Under this sometime the candidates
can become now was at honest of the test and conformal the right from the beginning to the end.
The last thing the person needs an interview to entirely collapse the same and it change the entire
situation as well as results. This method is also based on small population which doesn't provide
an appropriate number of statistical information as it doesn't cover large number of section. When
a person is using the psychometric test at large number there must be authenticity within the
population which is not possible for the implementing which impact in the end results.
Communicating with professionals from another discipline
The major rational behind communicating the professional from the discipline in the
case of Miss Glenda is that it another professional who can treat diabetes and blood pressure
in appropriate way. In the current professional I am being not able to understand the problem
faced by her in appropriate manner. Also the mental health act which implemented on her is
not necessary as she is being well and not doing nonsense and rubbish things which can be
impact on other persons. It is necessary to provide an appropriate health treatment from other
practitioner so that she can survive for longer period of time as well as can understand the
consequences and the diseases which she is facing. Under this her mental condition is normal
which is not difficult to be managed full stop one more thing is that by showing the other
practitioner she will get a mental satisfaction that will help in achieving a desired results and
improving her health condition. For her test it is founded that in her vocabulary, she had some
difficulty identifying words. Prosody was as it should be. There were no issues with auditory

understanding. There were no noticeable disruptions in distant memory, but there was some
damage in both immediate and recent memory. The patient's intelligence was determined to
be normal. Planning and coordination deficiencies were evidence of executive processing
issues. The effect was unimpressive. Her demeanour was tense. There was no evidence of the
patient's interpersonal actions. Both suicide and homicidal ideation is refuted by the patient.
The substance of her reflections was fitting for the case. This acted as a major reason for
shifting her to the other practitioner and choosing a particular practitioner to improve their
medical conditions and improve her functioning. This will help her in giving different
benefits which can be utilised in future period and will help in achieving better results. This
will also provide her prosperity where she can live life for longer period of time.
