INTRODUCTION
Stress plays an important role in human body because it disturbs the physical and mental
status of individual. In my report I will discuss about the role of stress in human body affects of
stress in personal and professional life of individuals life. Further, I will evaluate my learning
over hazards and future practices to reduce the hazards which are caused due to stress. Thus, in
the report I will write about my burnout experience and measures to deal with burnout.
Learning from the chapters
Stress in the human body destroys the stability of thinking and understanding over the
stressed situation in individual personal and professional life (Thomas and Michelle 2016, Page
41). Further, stress impacts the personal and professional life of humans as in this situation the
individuals start stressing and losses the ability to think on the condition and react vigorously.
Therefore, it is important for the people to not react instantly and should stay calm in case of
stress (Skovholt and Rønnestad, 2013). In contrary, I have learned about the stress which is
strong adrenaline rush in human body which demands an instant reaction or understanding.
Further the study helped me in analysing that before reacting to any situation the humans should
draw the road map to the solution which assist the individual in determining alternative solution
to the problems and lastly I learned that enhancing self confidence plays major role for seeking
the right solution in case of stress. (Thomas and Michelle 2016, Page 43, and 44). I learned from
paragraph at page 45 that we sooner or later managed to work what felt like a workable
alternative human relationship. Furthermore, I have experienced various kind of hazards which
led to stressful situation in my life but in context to my study the three hazard I have gone
through are as follows:
Hazardous situations
Hazard 1: The Other wants a quick solution; we disappoint with an offer of slow success
(Thomas and Michelle 2016, Page 65)
In accordance to this, I was juggling with career option and my parents were blaming me
for not doing anything. The comments and pressure from my parents stressed my situation and I
got isolated from everyone and started overthinking over their one line. Further, it took me 6
months to understand the parents point of view and when I realized I was again late by 6 months.

Moreover, when I started talking to people I realized that developing the sense of understanding
is the practice which assist the individual in reducing stress and hazards.
Hazard 2: Sometimes we cannot help because we are not the right person at the time ( Thomas

contrasting from us. In some cases we are not the right professional for that individual. Like,
Tom gets older, he gets more right for some customer, more wrong for others. He is the incorrect
gender for some women customer who are search a female healer and the right gender for some
women customer who desire a male healer. I have experienced when I wanted to help my friend
who was struggling with the decreasing marks in mathematics and I was very poor at it therefore
I took Entrepreneurship as an optional subject but still I wanted to help him badly and I started
working for his maths problems and ended up blundering his situation where I realized that until
you are not sure about any problems or situation don't help otherwise you will lead to hazardous
situation.
Hazard 4: Often people ask for help because they have a seemingly unsolvable problem that
must be solved (Thomas and Michelle 2016, Page 71)
One of my female friend shared about his married life and about the rude behaviour of his
husband every day which was leading her towards stress, so I suggested her to talk to him but in
this situation I can not talk not interrupt because it is her personal life where may his husband do
not like me interrupting in their married life. Therefore, I was stressed as she used to cry but his
husband bas same as usual even after taking. This situation made me feel handicapped but at last
I ended up stressing and the people divorced which was disturbing for me. In this case I analysed
that it is important to react after understanding the intensity of problems otherwise you can create
hazards in your and others life (Shapiro, Brown and Biegel, 2017).
Burnout situation
Working in community mental health for five years, I was burned out, or burned up, by a
sense of hopelessness after overextending myself to help people and no one seemingly
appreciated my efforts (Thomas and Michelle 2016, Page 101, 102, 103): This is the situation in
which the any individual will lose his or ability to think and react because the professional life of
the human depends on the motivation and appreciation and in this case nothing was in favour. In
accordance to this situation I was experiencing this in my office where my colleagues and my

discussed this with my family and office friends who supported me and I reacted patiently by
talking to management about the same and now I am doing good in my professional life.
