The testing of the psychology is known as the assessment of psychology which is the foundation
of how the psychologist understands the individual along with its traits of the behavior. The
psychological tests differ depending on the aspects of the psychology of a person. For example,
some tests are being used to determine the personality, IQ, etc. Whereas, some tests show the
strong base of evidence as compared to some other tests. The different type of tests are Dupuis,
(M., Meier, E., Capel, R., & Gendre, F. 2015)-
Clinical interview- this interview is conducted by the professionals of the health in order
to gather the family and the personal information of an individual. This type of test is
used by the social workers of the clinic, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, etc. The
duration of the test is 1-2 hours. The test is simply used by interacting with the individual
in order to gather the information.
Intellectual functioning assessment- the test is conducted to measure the intellectual
functions of an individual. This can be done by the assessment of neuropsychology and
the tests of intelligence. This helps in determining the deficits and the strengths of the
cognitive. This test is done for the persons who have suffered the brain damage, an
organic problem of a brain and the dysfunction. The tests are being used by the
professionals.
Personality test- the test is conducted to test the personality traits of an individual. The
test includes projective, and the objective but the objective type is being commonly used.
The test is being used by the professionals, and the tests are used to measure the traits of
the personality like hypomania, paranoia, femininity, introversion, etc. The 16 basic traits
of the personality are given to the person in order to see in which trait he lies and helps
the professional to measure their actual traits of the personality.

The uses and the interpretations might vary. For example, the two psychologists can
come up with the different outcomes depending on the tools which they use.
There can be an uncertainty of measurements as the tests are conducted in order to
measure such things which are not observable directly. Further, there will be a gap
among the attempted test what is actually perceived.
The tests of the psychology are only relevant for a particular point of time and the
result of the tests changes according to the time and the circumstances.
The biggest limitation is the cultural bias as the results are not accurate for the
individuals who speak distinct languages.

best records of the academics. So, in order to maintain their records, they interpret the results in a
negative way.
The one of the ethical issues revolves around the factor of bias like the bias in the entry of the
data and the participant. The other issue of ethics is dealing with the consent of the information
as it contains all the information about the tests. The legal issue is that the individuals should be
taken care off during the tests and the environment should not be created for the unfair benefits.
