The aim of this paper is to discuss the changing platforms of the video games starting
from the console platform to mobile or smartphone gaming and how it has engaged a huge
number of people around the world. Now the gaming platform has shifted to the mobile video
games and the gamers from all generations have been spending an insane amount of time
playing every type of games. It proves that the smartphones are gradually taking up the
popularity of video games played in consoles. The chief reasons of this shift is due to the
technological development of the smartphones and the games becoming more attractive in the
phone features. In addition to this, the gamers can carry the games anywhere and spend their
time playing in any situation.
Since the advent of iPhones, the market of smartphone has grown exponentially
beyond the wildest dreams. The technology iPhone has started to use to grow white engaging
experience to the mobile phone Gamers has been utilised by other smartphone companies and
Systems. In every aspect of life mobile phones are dominating human lives therefore the
gaming experience has not fall in exception. According to Forbes.com (2018), a poll of
female and male gamers in the UK based mobile strategy agency has found that the mobile
game has been voted the most preferred gaming device 42% and 32% voters have preferred
consoles and 26% their personal computer. The processing power and graphical abilities of
the mobile devices have attracted huge number of population especially the young ones to
prefer the mobile platform for gaming experience. The vast expanse of the games available in
mobile has advanced this preference for mobile gaming process (Deterding et al, 2011).
Mobile games have the Ability to feature all inclusive and in-depth story, character
development, capability to present massive online 3D world and emerged through virtual
reality and augmented reality (Witkowski, 2012).
The preference for Smartphone platform for gaming experience is also increased as
the price is a major factor where the gamers get their preferred games online through free

of losing players in one particular area the shifts are being seen through different games and
different platforms (Linehan et al., 2015). The popularity of video gaming has been increased
with mobile game platform and more and more people are supporting the fact that they are
getting more enjoyment that they used to get from the computer games (Taylor, 2016). The

Mobile gaming platform has added the number of population converting the social network
audience Into the Gamers and showing that and you audience of players is emergency. These
players do not necessarily identify as The Gamers at the home playing on expensive consoles
but instead can spend time on the mobile games which is not at all expensive to buy.
However mobile experience and console experience for video game is merging each day
(Taylor, 2016). The main growth driver for console, mobile and PC gaming is different
variations of social and competitive gaming experiences in last few years. the cross platform
games that includes both the experience of computer and consoles along with mobile games
has given an interesting scope to minimise the gap of platforms that can work for the
advantages of all types of gaming platform (Deterding et al, 2014).
The game specific handsets have been emerging a new wave in the gaming industry
market because more and more gamers ate flocking to the popular multiplayer games like
Clash of Clans, Fortnite and most importantly PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG.
The popularity of such games has increased when the youngsters get the same high end

PUBG, the World online has experienced an explosion into battle madness. This particular
game is available in iOS and android and published by Tencent Games on 19th march 2018.
There are some very important features of this particular mobile game which has made it
attractive to the youngsters and online Gamers of all ages and nationality. This game is a
persistent online game where the gamer needs a connection of internet for playing either via
Wi-Fi or mobile network. PUBG is one of the most gracefully and elegantly designed game
where the shooters are identified With the Gamers. The Battle Royale means against all
where the gamers can start with nothing initially. They are supposed to scavenge and collect
the weapons as well as equipment needed for completing the game. This game is a battle to
the last standing player with 99 other players on 8x8 Kilometres Island. The game starts with
the player parachuting into the island where all the other hundred players are unarmed and
doing the same. All of these players find their weapons, vehicles and armour. With the
passage of time the safe place area gets shrank and force the players to come into the same
place of the map killing one and other. The last person who survives, actually wins the game.
Create virtual reality in a type of Battlefield where the hairs Around the World
represent through the Shooters. The game does not have any computer moves which are
automatic but the real persons playing from different part of the world as a Shooter. Thus the
game presents a feeling of actual Battleground where the shooters are engaged in the actions
of their own survival by the means of violence. The game is available in the PC version but
gained more popularity when became available in the mobile. It creates a feeling of reality as
the game has one of the most expensive and high end technicality involved with it. The
presentation of the virtual reality and features where the control of the shooters are in the
hands of the gamers and they as if they are trying to survive in the island full of enemies
themselves. PUBG however has no method of trapping of the online shooters which used to

to survive at their best way possible.
PUBG is a location based mobile game but completely different from the urban
gaming or street games where the shooter is trapped in a city or town and finding ways to get
free from the attacks (de Souza e Silva & Hjorth, 2009). As mentioned before PUBG is
located a deserted Island where only hundred Gamers represented by the Shooters presently
playing. This Island is an amalgamation of rural and urban environment that is detail in in the
map presented in the top right hand corner of game the full area presented in the map is
initially play well but gets decreased in size with the progress of time.
Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the most interest games that can glue the
gamers with their mobile phones for hours through its cool graphics, thrill of shooting down
the others, smooth controls of the equipment and the constant threat of life of the shooters
representing the gamers from different parts of the world. In the post-apocalyptic scene of the
game, all the shooters keep on racing against one another to stay is the ever closing circle of
the island. They loot buildings, ammunitions, resources and weapons needed just like the real
life battleground. This attracts the people of different ages and perspectives. They constancy
fight for survival and there is only one way of surviving that is the kill others (Ding, 2018).
This leads the gamers to get engrossed in the game as just one second of unwariness and
somebody will kill them. The game continues until one man is standing killing all 99 others.

highly important to make moves because there is danger in every way in the island. PUBG is
one of the most popular games because it needs proper medical ways for playing and winning
the game. It is not only the picking of guns and shooting others to survive but following a
proper strategy to reach the chicken dinner victory which is the fancy name given to the
winners. Therefore every movement of the gamers represented by the shooters in the island is
important as this way heavy on how it will be turning out. For the beginners this process of
decision making for the movement in the island is important which creates interest for them
and attractions towards the game (LUYI, 2018). For example if the beginners cannot decide
the proper time of landing from the plane they may face problems later in the Battleground. If
they jump too early they will hit the ground earlier than the others but will be away from the
actual Battlefield. But if their jump let from that plane it may distance them from the
opponents and give enough time to scavenge in peace before facing the battle. Therefore it
can be said that PUBG has an underlying strategy for every shooters which The Gamers need
to find out as soon as possible. The game expects the players to have analytical understanding
of time and space so that they can solve the issues in the game soon and take a beforehand
then the competitors. The special effects are surrealistic where the shooters can hide in
different places in the island. Defined game interface allows the gamers to swap items with
the teammates and loot. The health bars and ammunitions present in the game give extra
leverage to the gamers. Thus the attractions of the new generation mobile games lovers
cannot stay away from this game but get attracted towards PUBG increasing its revenue day
by day.
Mobile control has enhanced its engaging experience of this game. PUBG provides
the similar gameplay elements as Xbox and PCs but uses an on screen control. It can be
customized for various layouts or elements to suit its size of the preference or device. This
