ASSESSMENT 1 Short survey: Draft a short survey
PART 1
Public Health
Public Health in the economy is deteriorating because of the living standards of
individuals. Today individuals are not focused on what they are eating and their routine is also
hampered. This has made it an issue and it is required to be resolved at utmost.
Survey
The use of means of communication for collecting data is required to be very effective.
The method of data collection is required to be very accurate so that there is no bias and
information delivered is authentic and reliable (Berens and et. al. (2016). The data collected is
through surveys which was conducted through video calls. This is an accurate and valid method
where respondents are asked and their reply is true and valid. In the survey there are three age
groups and are asked questions which are according to their individuality. The draft will further
mention advantages and disadvantages that is faced by the interviewers while they are asking the
questions. There is also a discussion on sampling methods on which data is selected with their
limitations.
Advantages
There are a lot of benefits of video call surveys and can be seen as:
They are cost effective.
They saves time.
They makes sure the reliability and authentication of data.
Disadvantages
There was an issue of internet connection from the respondent side.
There requires a person who needs to be well efficient with communication skills to
interact and take answers.
Sampling Method
The sampling method used for the data collected is random sampling. In video call
interview session, the data collected were segregated through random basis. In this there are 20
respondents to which (Harris and et. al. (2018) 5 interviewers were assigned on the basis of their

age groups. Random sampling is the most easy and efficient method of sampling. The focus of
choosing respondents was totally equal and fair.
Limitations
The random sampling method can sometimes be considered as unfair as samples which
are selected can be any as which is picked by the interviewer. The techniques can be considered
unfair as selection of samples can (Lee and et. al.(2017)be any by simply picking, irrespective of
the groups made or not.
