People's Heath is a result of internal as well as external factors
INTRODUCTION
This essay is based on how internal psychological factors like beliefs, emotions, habitual
behaviour and external physical factors like exercise, diet effect people’s health (Glasby, 2017).
BODY
There are many Psychological internal factors that affect the health of people like their beliefs
which come from there surrounding, emotions and habitual behaviour and External factors like
diet, regular exercise proper health knowledge, environment all are very essential for healthy
living (Hills et al., 2015).
INTERNAL FACTOR
First, psychological factor like beliefs shapes the attitude of a person which they opt from their
surroundings, family, friends, social group, TV and Social media, etc (Glasby, 2017). The same
thing may be good for one person is not good for others. For example; Molly who is from the
UK like sunbath because she believes that tanning is attractive and gave her confidence and
also protect her from skin cancer (Barer, 2017). On other hands, many Indian’s feel dark skin is
not good for them. So, health reason is different according to a different individual (Barer,
2017).
Second, Psychological factor like Emotions some people are very sensitive towards there life
people and their things and some are not that emotional they may be more practical it’s all
about how you handle your day to day activities how you look for your problems and how you
react. Reaction in every situation differs from person to person (Chinn, 2017).
Third, Habitual Behavior like smoking, drinking non-healthy drinks likes alcohol every evening
gave people satisfaction and mental peace but it’s not good for health as well smoking cigarette
reduce work pressure but it’s also unhealthy (Barer, 2017).

EXTERNAL FACTOR
In an external factor, an example of school can be taken which will show how since starting it's
very important to give a student the knowledge of good health (Koutoukidis et al., 2015). The
school promotes a healthy life by encouraging exercises on daily basis and encouraging
students to take proper and full of nutrition diet by avoiding junk food and drinks. These all will
help in making children more healthy, productive and energetic (Koutoukidis et al., 2015).
First one is Exercises like yoga, Zumba, aerobics, running, walking and gym anything doing on
daily bases is very important for healthy living as it helps in reducing extra calories maintain
blood circulation reduce stress and make a person happy and energetic whole day. This habit
should be inbuilt in a person since childhood as it also improves life efficiency (Kelder et al.,
2015).
Second, Proper Diet taking healthy food which is full of nutrition and vitamin is good rather
than junks which mostly contain calories, carbs and fat which is in excess are not good and it
can't be lost in the day to day activities as it increases the chances of obesity (Kelder et al.,
2015). Taking a proper healthy diet that on proper time without much gap in between of meals
improves mental as well as physical health.
Third, Physical education is very important to provide knowledge on physical activities lectures
regarding physical and mental health (Hills et al., 2015). Encouraging games, activities among
students in school, colleges and even in offices which will help people to bear stress, workload
and reduce anger also encourage healthy living (Hills et al., 2015). Only studies and bookish
knowledge can’t help in growing physical activities, games practical knowledge is equally
important for mental and physical health (Hills et al., 2015).
CONCLUSION
From all these, it can be concluded that mental and physical health are very important things
for a healthy living and both external and internal factors are important to be kept in mind. All
the internal and external factors should be ensured since childhood because the external
factors like surroundings, family and social group affects the internal factors such as the beliefs,

emotions and habits of people which ultimately affects the health of people. External factors
like exercise, knowledge on healthy lifestyle and proper diet also affect a lot on individual
decision making which improves professional as well as personal life that ultimately reduces the
chances of diseases.
