Public health is the art and science of preventing disease, thereby prolonging the life of

the community people. The institutions aim to establish a systematical presentation principle on
the state of public health policies and practices in a language that is easy for public health
professionals to comprehend. An example of community health concern is motor vehicle injuries
and healthcare-associated infections.
Health-care is an issue of the community. For example, from the principle that states the
public health nurse should qualify is a principle that affects the community as a whole (Israel,
Schulz, Coombe, Parker, Rowe, & Lichtenstein, 2019). The motor vehicle injuries have affected
public safety in the city since there have been rampant accidents happening almost daily on the
community roads. These accidents eventually lead to death. Careless driving and overloading are
said to be the main reason these deaths.
Transportation is a very significant component of society; businessmen and women
depend on it to transport their products. The ambulance department uses it to transfer patients
from one facility to another. It is essential to utilize the road network effectively by imposing
driving regulation and inspection standards that the drivers should adhere to while on duty. In
2018, 25% of those who had road accidents died while the rest nurtures severe injuries (Laraque-
Arena, & Stanton, 2018).
As a nurse, I would beseech the government to add resources to the nursing department
that could aid in training nurses and equipping them with necessary knowledge that can enable
them to perform effectively in the field.
