Introduction
Public health refers to the health issues, prevention method for minimizing the chances of
diseases. The term public health is a kind of discipline and art controlling diseases, ensuring the
good health to the people. The hard labour of different health agencies, the contribution of
government, and public, private communities also takes a major part in public health as the
preventive method of the different agencies helps the nation in minimizing the chances of
diseases and ensuring the healthy life of the people. In the present situation, the whole world
witnessed the high level of health diseases that causes the end of the life. It has also been
evidenced that the busy, unhealthy lifestyle of the people are the prime factors that are the main
reasons behind the raising of rare health diseases. Therefore, in this assignment, the contributions
of different agencies, the preventive methods, and strategies for ensuring the good health of the
people have been discussed briefly. Apart from this, the reasons, factors behind the high level of
diseases have also been critically analyzed in this assignment.

1.1 Explaining the role of various agencies in identifying the level of health
diseases in community area
According to Davidson (2014, p.39), the role of different agencies in public health is vital for the
nation. It has been evidenced that different agencies, local authorities, government, world health
organisation, European Union and different trusts play an important role in health care services.
The local agencies try to develop their education n system that they can make the people to
understand the necessity of leading a good, healthy life. On the other hand, it has been also seen
that local authorities, council make collaboration with the national, private agencies in order to
conduct a health care campaign that they can create awareness among the people about the
health, the nature of diseases and about the precautionary methods for preventing diseases.
Apart from this, it has also been seen that the contribution of government is very effective for the
health and social care as the various policies, rules of government ensures the safety procedures
at health care services. It has also been observed that government conduct many health seminars,
free medical campaign just for the sake of the people and make them aware of their unhealthy

lifestyles. On the other hand, at present situation, European Union and world health organization
also take initiative approaches in order to maximize the level of health service as the lack of
proper observation, lack of proper treatment sometimes results the high level of health issues. It
has also been observed both European union, world health organization also conduct health
education for the people that they can make them understand that people need to avoid smoking,
drugs, alcohol and other harmful products in order to secure theirs. The careless, unhealthy
lifestyles also affect their children, especially the teenagers and leads them towards death,
harmful diseases like HIV, AIDS, cardiac diseases, nerve problem and so on.
World health organisation also tries to generate a investigating system worldwide along with the
help of communities, help of government, by collecting information from universal networks,
help of health laboratory services of UK. This also helps them to find out solutions to fight
against the infectious, non-infectious and harmful diseases.
1.2 Explaining the epidemiology of diseases that are widespread in the country
As per the opinion of Buunk et al. (2013, p.41), at present situation, many countries of UK
witness a rapid growth of harmful health diseases like infectious diseases and non-infectious
diseases. A per the record of health diseases it has been evidenced that among the infectious
diseases; the level of Human Immunodeficiency virus is comparatively higher than the other

observed that the level of cardiovascular diseases among the women is comparatively lower than
men. The biological cause, environmental cause results the high level of this diseases. It has been
medically proved that Hypertension, taking of prohibited drugs, drinking of alcohol, unnecessary
usage of antibiotics, failure to control the level of insulin, plasma free fatty acid is the main
reason behind cardiovascular diseases. The statistical report presents that 13 % people suffer
from cardiovascular diseases due to high BP, 6% suffers from diabetes and 9% of for the use of
tobacco. Therefore, the health organization needs to create awareness among the people that

they stop the usage of tobacco, avoid alcohol and drugs. They also need to encourage the people

need to encourage the people for maintaining a proper diet, also need to develop their screening

communities
The health institutions need to adopt various types of effective approaches in order to prevent the
disease effectively. The health care organizations need to use the surveillance strategies in order
to observe the conditions, source, and symptoms of diseases carefully (Antheunis et al. 2013,
p.19). This strategy helps them in depth analysis regarding the health issues and helps them to
identify the roots of diseases. In order to conduct the surveillance process properly, the
institutions need to use the powerful surveillance camera, also need to develop their recording
device, IP network connection that they can monitor the health conditions, treatment process
continuously. Apart from this, the organisations also need to use the screening strategy as it
helps them to investigate, identify the presence of without viewing symptoms of diseases. On the
other hand, the health management also need to follow proper health planning that they can
control the health issues properly and can provide the people the best health services. Therefore
