INTRODUCTION
The policy also give focuses to remove the avenue of the advertising of the brand for the company of the
cigarette. WHO convention on tobacco control is included in the process of the packaging of tobacco.
In this youth between age of 20- 35 are focused because the use of smoking habit among them is
increasing to a great extent. Also, this is leading to affecting on their mental health as well.

Background of policy
• Prevention from tobacco policy is been formed and implemented by government to reduce use of
tobacco among people.
• Also, there are several acts and amendments included in policy which state responsibility of hospitals,
local authorizes, government, etc. this enables in preventing use of tobacco among people.

Life event
• In youngsters the major life event that has occurred during this time is rise in lung cancer due to
smoking. This is impacting on their physical heath of a great extent. Moreover, people are facing
difficulty in breathing.
• Due to rise in lung cancer youngsters health is been affected. Thus, it can lead to rise in death due to
cancer.

Health issue
• The health issue is rise in lung cancer. There are many youths who are suffering from it.
Moreover, due to this nature of people towards use of tobacco has decreased. Due to this
culture is affected as youth are consuming more tobacco. Alongside, it has shifted their mind
towards taking drugs in early age, developing smoking habits, etc.

Intervention
• In order to reduce lung cancer, there are many intervention that can be followed. For this programs and
campaign can be organized to raise awareness about harmful impact of use of tobacco. This will help in
making people and restricting them to use tobacco. In addition, programs will also suggest measures
and strategies that can be used to stop smoking habit, etc. it can be done through social media as well.
• Thus, this strategy will make youth aware about what harmful impact can tobacco have on mental and
physical health.
