ASSESSMENT
Assessment process mainly run by human resource department it acts as an important role to
evaluate the employee performance in a true selecting way and encourage performing well in the
job .Basically, employer adopting assessment center to simulate the particular conditions that
will face by the employee in job. In addition, measure how employee react and deal with the
given situation. Assessment process according to employer’s actual assessment includes the
following points:
JOB ANALYSIS
The assessment process begins with job analysis, it refer to identify the detail description about
the respective job duties/ responsibility and requirements. After it, the acquired information use
by the organization to determine which employees are best fit for a particular jobs.
COMPETENCIES
Competence includes the particular set of skills, knowledge and ability that allows the employee
to improve his/her level of performance during job. A competency acts as a major element for
the assessors during the assessment center and addressed in performance related terms.
MEASUREMENTS
The next step after the job analysis includes the measurements through different instruments that
measure the individual competency at different level through different exercises like simulations.
