Introduction
Project management helps in directing various ways for the development of the organisation; the
management also helps in making new ventures and setting new ways to make success in the
market. In the project management process, various steps and procedures are necessary to follow.
The procedures can include making a budget, planning the timing and understanding the risks of
the project. In the project management, the management is done assigned project manager. In
these report, there will be planning of the project initialised by QA Higher Education (QAHE),
by arranging a major launch event to portray their new changes and refurbishment done in the
teaching rooms and buildings (QA Higher Education, 2019). Project launching is done by the
institution in one of the branches, which will in Manchester campus. There will be an
demonstration of proper budget, risk analysis, work breakdown structure of the major launch
event in Manchester, with aligning of relevant theories to make the project productive and
successful.

1. Project Initiation Document (PID)
The Project Initiation Document will demonstrate the redecoration of the classrooms and
buildings of QA higher education, in creating a healthy and clean environment for the students to
learn and develop gradually in their learning process. Aim of the launch event is to attract more
students to get facilities of the latest technologies and learning equipments, which will help in
developing the education standard. This will also give the educational institution of Manchester
competitive advantage, which will portray their investment in arranging a major event and
revealing their achievement in attracting more students.
Objectives

Budgetary information for the Major launch event in Manchester Campus
The budget is the essential attributes needed in making an activity or event successful and the
investment needed in commencing the event will help in directing the project in a systematic
manner. The budget set by QAHE Manchester Campus, is £50,000, which will be used in
making the launch event successful.

Timescales: The planning of the project will be commenced from date 15th of July, 2019 to 10th
of September in the year 2019. The actual processing will be commenced in 15th of September
2019. Nevertheless, the project will be commenced in two months that is 60 days to plan for the
project, and the organizing will be done by taking 60 days so that the project successful.

Project Sponsor: sponsor of the launch event is the Managing Director (MD) of the QAHA
Manchester branch.
Project Manager: The Project Manager will manage the various activities of entreprise.
Approach: Approach is the one that have been stated in the beginning need a specific direction
to complete the project. The Waterfall process will be used in the approach of the project, the
project will be helpful in understanding the breakdown of the activities done in project
(Akhmetshin et al., 2019). The results in every step are necessary to direct to the other activity to
totally complete the project. Nevertheless, in this research the Waterfall methodology is most
effective.
Analysing the risk of the project at the initial stage: It is necessary to understand the risks
which will stop the successful processing of the project, there will problems regarding the
efficient advertising of the project, Therefore, taking support of some advertising agencies will

helps in successful promotion of the project and their exposure to the new students.
Advertisement agencies will help in projecting their new refurbishment done to raise the
standard of the educational environment, which will attract various new students (Turner, 2016).
Key Staff: in this project as stated before the Project Sponsor will be the Managing Director and
the managerial responsibilities will be catered by the Director of Operations. The essential
employees in the project will be demonstrated below:

The analysing of the Stakeholders is important to understand the necessities of the project, the
techniques helps in understanding the breakdown of the resulting outcomes. In these report, the
analysis of the various stakeholders will be enunciated taking part in the project QA Higher
