AI Summary
This project management report details the development of a mobile application for QAHE recreation, focusing on providing students with a platform to access club and society event information and publicize their own events. The report begins with a project initiation document (PID) outlining the project's objectives, budget, and key stakeholders. It then presents a stakeholder analysis matrix, identifying and evaluating various stakeholders' interests and influence. A work breakdown structure (WBS) is provided to illustrate the hierarchical decomposition of project tasks. The report also includes a Gantt chart for visualizing project timelines and a critical path analysis for identifying critical project activities. Furthermore, the report addresses potential project risks through a risk register, detailing various risks, their probabilities, impacts, and mitigation strategies. The project also covers communication strategies and project management methodologies. The project aims to create a comprehensive plan for the successful development and deployment of the mobile app, ensuring effective project management practices.

INTRODUCTION
Project management introduces as an effective practices of initiating, planning, doing,
controlling and ending the work of a team to accomplish specific objectives and meet particular
success criteria at the specified time period. This project is based on the case scenario 2 which is
mainly related with the recreation of mobile phone app (Al-Hunaiyyan, Alhajri and Al-Sharhan,
2016). This app will give day by day details of QAHE clubs and societies’ events, links to
contact details and the freedom for students to publicise their own events. This project is based
on different tasks which includes PID and stakeholder analysis, WBS, risk register and Short
report. These are main aspects which will be beneficial for project manager in completion of
each activities of project in systematic manner.
PROJECT 1

scope and overall success criteria that the project team can go back to during the project. This
project is based on recreating of mobile phone app that helps QAHE clubs and societies by
connecting number of students to publishes their own events. Project initiation is a document that
includes useful information regarding the various attributes that turn to support project manager
in completion of project successfully (Palos-Sanchez, Saura and Debasa, 2018).

Main objectives Main objective of developing a new QAHE
Recreation mobile phone app is to help
students by providing them a platform to
interact with people organising social events.
Project staff In order to complete this project, there is need
of some members which are human resource
manager, marketing manager, finance manager
and project manager. These are main staff that
plays an important role in developing a new
QAHE Recreation mobile phone app.
Approach There are basically three approaches that will
be require by project manager in development
of new QAHE Recreation mobile phone app
which are Native, Hybrid and Mobile app (Ma,
Lam and Leung, 2018).
Native
ï‚· Quick response time with Zero network
ï‚· Makes the most of smartphone features.
ï‚· Development and maintenance cost is
slow.
Hybrid
ï‚· Development and maintenance cost is
moderate.
ï‚· Large portion of the app codes can be
re-used.

Mobile app
ï‚· High development speed
ï‚· Low development and Maintenance
cost
Therefore with the help of above mentioned
approach, QAHE can easily develop mobile
phone app.
Risk There are some risk that may be face by project
manager by developing of mobile phone app.
This includes risk of security breaches, risk of
choosing the wrong development partner etc.
These are major risk that will be faced by
project manager while developing of mobile
phone app (Martinez and Lecomte, 2017).
Quality TQM and JIT is the approach used regarding
maintenance of overall quality. This will not
help to manage the inventory but aid in
optimum utilisation of monetary requirements.
Also, TQM help in integration of all the efforts
that ultimately contributes in production of
qualitative mobile application.
Cost The estimated cost incurred in development of
this application will be around £5000.
Time Total 1 year of time period is required in
effective development of mobile application
along with its testing

B) Work Breakdown Structure
Work breakdown structure introduces as a deliverable-oriented hierarchical
decomposition of the work. It is an effective framework that helps project manager to allot roles
and responsibilities to the number of stakeholders according to their experience and performance
(Flora, 2018). There are different number of tasks. All these are completed in the situation of
attaining targets. Planning is completed when able to ascertain the resources. Production is
completed when able to lunch the application.
