EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This is associated with the project started by QAHE for managing the work and activities
conducted by this university. This organisation is refurbishing computer labs and smart
classrooms. This report provides information about the project initiation document of this
computer lab and classroom project.

INTRODUCTION
Project management refers to various processes which are included in order to complete
a particular task. It is necessary to use knowledge and well experienced individuals who may
help in completion of a project. There are certain goals and objectives are set for a certain project
which are required to be met in a given time period. In the following report a project is made
which refers to a network system which is developed in order to enhance interdepartmental
communication in an organisation. This report will provide various discussion on work
breakdown structure, detail of project and various steps and project including budget of the
project.
TASK 1
A) Project initiation document
Project initiation document refers to a factor which helps in evaluating all the different
elements which will be used in order to conduct the project successfully. A successful project is
completed only when proper documentation is included and all the related activities and task
which are to be completed in the project are documented. The project initiation document is the
document which is a decision makers and will help in implementing various plans. this will
effectively help the business to get all the important details and information required for
completion of the project. The project initiation document consists of timescale, smart
objectives, research approaches, key members of the project and also stakeholder analysis.
Budgetary information:
Budget is an important factor in a project which helps in carrying out all the activities. There are
a number of activities and task which are involved in a project and in order to carry all of these
sums paintings are required and some up of these is called as budget. In context of the present
project below mentioned are various factors which will be included in the budget:

Timescales:

Timescale refers to the amount of time which will be required by the project team to complete
the project with all the objectives. It is the duty of project manager to make sure that all the
responsibilities are fulfilled and the objectives of project are met on the given time period. When
taking the present project into context the project manager is given six months to completely set
up a network system in organisation which will help to successfully enhance the communication
between various departments in organisation. The project will start from first of November and
will be carried on till 30 April 2021. It is a crucial time and is necessary for the project manager
to make sure that all the activities and task which are related to the project are completed in the
given time period.
Approaches:
Project approach can be said to be a process or procedure which is followed by the project
manager in order to complete the project successfully. When taking the following project into
context it is necessary for the project manager to critically understand needs of network system
in the organisation. They need to look for different departments and clearly understand what are
the needs of people in the organisation. Research of feedback is taken from employees and
managers in the organisation where network systems to be developed will be helpful for project
manager to complete the project.
Key staff:
The key members of staff are related to all those who are included in the research work and who
are necessary in order to make sure that the project is carried on successfully. It is necessary for
the project manager to effectively manage all the key members who are an important part of the
following project. It is also necessary to understand various responsibilities and tasks which will
be performed by different people in the following project.
Stakeholders analysis:
When taking the present situation of business, the stakeholders are required in order to make sure
that the project is completed successfully. Project managers have also successfully prepared a
stakeholder and leases in order to understand the limitation and also make sure that they are
taking advantages from all the stakeholders who are available. It is necessary to study
stakeholder in order to understand what are various factors and who are the people who will be
affected by the project which is undertaken. In the following cases every employee of the
organisation will be a stakeholder including director, management, customers and so on.

Stakeholders form an important part in every project and it is necessary to identify and
communicate the action plan to the stakeholders about the project. Below mentioned is the

TASK 3.
Work break down structure.
WBS is known as the proper structure which is used by the project manager in order to
analyse the condition of project activities and tasks. In this, a large project is divided into smaller
activities and then project is easily completed. This is helpful in managing the project in effective
manner and accomplishing the activities properly. There is need of managing the project
activities properly and delivering it on time. Work breakdown structure includes the breakdown
of large project into smaller tasks which can be completed in in less time.
Marketing- This includes managing the marketing activities and tasks in effective
manner and completing them properly. This is defined as the management of project in effective
manner and completing the project activities in such a manner that all network related activities
are done properly.
Quality- quality is defined as the management of various objectives as well as tasks for
completing the project in successful manner. This consists of managing the project quality and
working for completing all the activities.
Financing- Financing is associated with the costing and money related factors of the
project. This includes managing the money related issues and factors.
Research- This is a project which is related with management of all project activities for
managing the work. The summary tasks are described in detail which are as follows:

Marketing- The network activities are conducted in such a manner that all activities are
conducted effectively. Project managers and team members are working in proper manner for
managing the network activities and tasks.
Quality- It is associated with providing good quality network services to the project.
Quality is defined as the managing of all the tasks and activities from the help of key
performance indicator.
Financing- finance of this project is 130 pounds and all the project activities and tasks
are completed in proper time.
Research- Research is properly managed in this project and it is ensured that leadership
is conducted properly. There is effective research done in this project. In this project work,
recommendation and leadership is managed properly.

PROJECT REPORT
This project is developed for managing the implementation of network system within the
company. This will help in enhancing communication.
Importance of the strong leadership:

There is requirement of effective and strong leadership for completing the project activities in
success for management. there is need for conducting the project activities effectively and
managing the limitation of network policies within the company in proper manner. For
management of proper network system in the company so that different departments can easily
communicate with each other and complete the project tasks. It is essential that there is proper
management and effective leadership for completing the project activities properly and
achieving the goals and objective of having network system.
Methodologies:
Methodology is defined as procedure and plan that is used by the project manager for
completing the tasks. In this project, different models are used for completing their research
including waterfall and agile and prince2. These are helpful for getting alternative solutions for
or completing the project and managing effectiveness of project completion.
Recommendation:
It is recommended from the above mentioned methodologies that there is need of applying
prince2 method. This is a method which is useful for completing the project tasks and activities
easily.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, this is analysed that project management has to be properly
managed for developing effective strategies. This will lead to manage the project tasks and
activities effectively and maintaining the project work.
