Introduction to Business Studies
INTRODUCTION
The project is made on the Qatar university stadium which
will be the multi- purpose stadium in AI Tarfa district of
Doha. It will be used for football matches and cricket matches
of the university. The capacity of the stadium will be 10,000
people at a time (Lee, 2016). This poster contains of
objectives, macro and micro factors which can become a
barriers and then analysis of those factors.
Construction of multipurpose stadium
Objectives
The primary objective of developing the project of stadium is
that it will be state of art and arena that will serve as the long
term use for the players. This will increase the profits of the
organisers by attracting new customers. If there will be a
football or cricket match, then customers come more to watch
the show. This increase the sales of tickets and also increase
in their revenues. The goals of the construction company are
to increase the quality service and number of events
organised in the country held at the stadium. This stadium is
constructed also because the next FIFA 2022 will be held in
this stadium. The ground will have the capacity of 10,000
people sitting at a time (Rezvani and Khosravi, 2018).
Micro factors are those which are closely related to the
business it includes suppliers, customers, stakeholders and
competitors. Which have the greater effect on the
construction company as well.
Increase in competition is the biggest factor which
can affect the construction of stadium.
Decision making and new start-ups also effect
because decisions of the government and creditors
have the positive as well as the negative impact on
the policies and process of the business.
Factor like relative profitability can affect the
construction project.
Macro factors are those factors which are related to external
environment of the organisation. In construction it will define
that how much stadiums are made in the available time
period.
Cost of goods and services have the power to
increase and decrease the probability of the business
as it is low the profit is higher and adverse in the
other condition.
Pricing decisions also effect when the amount of the
quantity supplied and the quantity is demanded is the
same tan this the equilibrium of the price.
Laws formulated by the government can be the main
factor at the time of construction of stadium.
Both are important for the success of the construction
company so they have to be closely examined to make
businesses successful.
Analysis
Every contractors of stadium construction have to face many challenges
regarding to complete project on time in the pre-defined budget. As Qatar
pays more attention towards the FIFA so they have to follow all the
technical aspects according to them. There is too much competition in the
stadium construction and in some cases the bargaining power of contractor
is more than the customers. Qatar stadium contractors always in the hope to
deliver stadium on time. Heavy engineering exercises are done before the
construction.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it is concluded that the stadium will have
certain objectives which they need to fulfils and this will help the
organiser in attracting more customers. Factors like macro and micro
affect the construction of stadium because they can become the
barriers in construction. As mangers needs to focus on those issues.
