The major advantages of public tourism are that it provides numerous benefits for bringing
in investments in the infrastructural development within Qatar. The public tourism activities
are being undertaken while ensuring that the environment within the urban and rural
settings is being preserved in Qatar. It also helps in bringing about tourists from various
cultures, which helps in bridging the gap between the cultures of different economies.
In contrast to this, there are many disadvantages of public tourism as it leads to huge
environmental pressure of Qatar owing to the overutilization of the natural resources by the
tourists. The extensive commercialization of the culture of Qatar can also lead to a huge
impact on the local culture.

The major advantages of private tourism include it brings in a huge amount of revenues for
the private players existing within the tourism industry. It also provides extensive job
opportunities as the staff is required at hotels, shops, transport and restaurants among
others. The tourism activities provide a chance for the local market players to showcase their
talent and gain a favourable position within the global market (Weber, 2017).
However, it also faces disadvantages in terms of less or no surety of the funding which is
gained from the tourist's activities. Also, it is evident that in the tourism industry, the players
are only dependent on the business from the tourists. This might lead to huge uncertainties
in their revenue generation.

Qatar and also bring in benefits for the tourists. This also helps in efficiently planning the
tourism activities in such a manner that the financial benefits for Qatar are improved.
However, inefficient rules of partnership can also lead to losses in tourism activities.
