INTRODUCTION
The tourism industry is one of the emerging industries that give upper hands to the countries in
their competition with the other countries. In Qatar, the rising tourism industry ensures its future
development (Henderson, 2015). But the development of tourism should be done sustainably in
order to increase employment opportunities in Qatar and help in the growth and development of
local population as well as to strengthen the overall economy of Qatar. This assignment provides
thorough information about the development of sustainable tourism in Qatar, the tourism
planning partnership and its impacts on Qatar’s tourism development both positively and
negatively. The report is prepared to show the different levels of Qatar’s tourism planning
development and the importance of interactive planning and methods to calculate the influence
of tourism in Qatar (Henderson, 2015). A leaflet and magazine are also prepared to show the
importance of sustainability, various stages of sustainable planning and hindrances in the
sustainable planning of Qatar. The enclave tourism and its effects and the strategies to manage
the imbalance of demand and supply of tourists in Qatar are also mentioned.
Lastly, the issues faced by developing and emerging country like Mexico and Israel and the
recommendations for the benefits of these countries to ensure effective tourism development is
also discussed.
