Introduction
Tourism sector is a part of hospitality industry which is mainly
concerned with the delivery of appropriate services that are
required by clients. Now a days business of this sector is
continuously increasing due to tourism development. This
presentation covers various topics such as the way in which
stakeholders can benefit from planning to tourism
developments, advantages and disadvantages of private/ public
sector tourism planning.

It is a cooperative arrangement between two or more private and
public sector organisations. Main purpose behind this
partnership is to enhance operational efficiency of companies.

 Partnership within public and private sector organisations result

 Along with this, it also result in profit maximisation as well as

 Their is chances of taking wrong decisions when public and
private sector organisations work together on single project.
 Modification within business environment result in affecting
private sector organisations more compare to public. But when
private sector implement chances it give impact on public and
entire tourism sector.

2 examples of PPP in Qatar with relevant details about it
The public and private partnership happen in Qatar for development of
the tourism sector includes providence of luxury dhow dining
cruise, luxury coach and 4x4 leasing company.
Another developments that can be noticed from such partnership in the
same sector is about development of ticketing and mobile
information centers and roving cottage markets/bazaars.

Conclusion
This presentation concluded that various benefits are acquired by
stakeholders of tourism development. As the business of this
sector is developing which helps the economy to grow faster
by contributing a higher percentage in national income.
Advantage of public/ private partnership is that it enhances
distribution of power among partnership which reduced
dictatorship. Disadvantage of it is that both the parties have
separate goals which results in conflicts among partners.
